I'm looking for a sub, but not the most expensive/competition sub. I want something that will work the best with my amp's power range 200w rms, 400w peak. I'm not particular to any brand, I just want what will sound the best for my application. Let me know what you guys recommend.

We need info on application... cubic feet, ported or sealed, number of subs, amp specifications, spl or sound quality, price limit, etc.

I have one polk 8" mm series sub run by a 400w amp and it cost about $120. This thing is amazing. I would put it up to a ten anyday. Definately check it out. Only requires .4 cu. ft of air space.

Ohms at rated wattage of amp? One or two channel? Bridgeable if 2 channel? The specific amp would help.

It sounds like you're looking for a v3 IDQ.

I've got a used eclipse 3532 and a 12" alpine in a box FS, pics in the buy/sell thread. Maybe you can make it work, maybe not, have a look.

I will be bridging the rear channels of my 4 channel pioneer amp. Bridged power 200w rms 400 peak all at 4 ohms. The amp is a pioneer gmd9500f. The manual says it's minimum impedance bridged is 4 ohms.

5100's (front 1.75) all around, rear leaf TSB. Bestop supertop, OEM bed mat. Pioneer 3200 HU, Pioneer GM 9500f amp, Eclipse SC6900 Front, Rear Eclipse 5 1/4, Marv box with Arc 10 sub. Dampened all doors and back wall with BXTII and ensolite, Supertop, blacked out emblems, 2011 grille, bedmat
I have the same pioneer amp. Running an Arc Audio Arc 10 (250watt RMS) sub in a marv box. Sounds amazing. Slams pretty hard too. Anything more would draw too much attention anyway.
