I've never understood this desire. If that's something you need, scratch that idea.

I'm with you, that is until I locked the front end with 37s and no hydro assist, now it's a godsend!

For 99.9% of other situations Its pretty useless.

I guess if you lived someplace with crazy steep hills/streets with a manual it'd be nice to have 2wd low range to avoid wearing the clutch as much

But offroad yeah I never understood the desire. Just put it in 4lo

I've wanted it before. In a group, behind someone that is going slow. In 2wd, don't need 4wd, PITA slipping the clutch in 2wd hi so 2wd lo would have been nice to have. Less use of the clutch when you are trying to go slow behind someone slower.

Oh yeah haha that'd be nice to have, I've often been stuck in traffic on a mountain hwy before and come real close to putting it in 4lo just so I didn't have to feather the clutch anymore. Wasn't a big deal with stock tires but with oversize tires, stock gears and armor weight the truck doesn't want to pull itself at all in 2wd unless I'm on flat ground

I tried that once when I had a jeep and I dropped it in low and the entire pack sped up to 45+. I had to pull over to shift it back into high and actually.lost time on that move LOL!! The brains of a 19year old in action!
