Anyone have a way to measure front lift with 35s and cut fenders? I’ve tweaked mine around I lost how much lift I have. Would like to lower it a bit. Feels like it’s sitting high.

I’m on 315/75/16 but I’m switching to 17’s because of readily available tires. 17’s have become mainstream in my area and 16’s are getting harder and harder to find

x2. Probably the main reason I went to 17s. Seems like less and less options. Love the look of 16s, big fan of more sidewall vs wheel. I feel like every tire has just jumped a size or two. Use to be a lot of 15s and 16s. Now a lot of 17s and even 18s from the factory.

just need to check clearances and get an alignment before I plate it back up. But a lot. I could hammer the pinch weld a bit more too.

Do you know how much you cut off the fender trim?

I do, guess that’d be the easiest. That had honestly skipped my mind. Thanks!

I'm running 315/75r16. I purposefully chose a tire on the skinnier side to help with fitment. 35's take a lot of work to fit. Worth it though, imo.

I cut 2” but probably came to 2 1/4” off the fender trim after rounding/sanding the edge straight (plastic seemed to ‘goop’ up and the line ended up being more of a guide)

just measured and I’m at 25.5” roughly. 23.5” if they weren’t cut. I’d like to lower it a tad, maybe 1/2”.

    CVs look okay to you?

The inner cv boot fins are touching a little more than I’d like. I don’t think it’s an immediate concern though. I’d lower a little until you start to see a gap between those fins.

Good to know. Thanks man. Still learning the 4x4 stuff. Technically still prerunning. Doing a swap, just need to install the trans and xfer case. I have a new boot kit for both CVs I’m going to install when I get the truck up on stands for the rest. The passenger boot slipped and started throwing grease 2 days after I installed the front end 4x4 parts.
