Dammit. More money I didn’t want to spend. But need to. I have spent so damn much money on maintenance recently (new uniballs for UCAs, shocks and coilovers rebuild and recharge, new bearings and spacers for shocks and coilovers, new ujoints and carrier bearing (and slip yoke), brake pads and rotors. More than a grand for sure. And most of it was me doing the work. And I definitely need to do this.

And there she sits, knowing I’m gonna spend the money on her. Greedy bitch.

Tightened the terminal on the back of the AC control for the power wire for the fan (resistor is good).
Pulled out my cabin air filter  Going to buy a new one tomorrow.

285/75/16 General Grabber ATXs on TRD Beadlock rims. Total Chaos fabrication preshaped/cut plates. He cut it back flush with the body/wheelwell all the way across. Tacked it on in a few spots, beat the sh*t out of it to conform to the cut, then finished welding all around and hit it with paint.

I hadn't rubbed on the body mount as far as i could tell before, but I haven't been wheeling in this truck yet either haha. Plan is to fit 35s on my next set of tires and a regear, but that's not until these tires are trash.

Homeboy asked for 150 but he did a beautiful job so I handed him the entire contents of my wallet ($200). Everyone was happy.

Still have to do the rest of my pinchweld myself though.

    Edit: typo

Yes, the metal was already cutout for the speakers behind the panel cover.

Ok, so what are you looking at?

Complete rebuild of upper and lower control arms with Energy Suspension Poly bushings and Proforged ball joints. When completed I will be all in with Proforged inner and outer tie rods, sway-bar drop links, sway-bar bushings and the BJ's.

As to the Energy Suspension bushings: Big thanks to this post: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...r-control-arm-bushing-install-8-3128r.409268/

The Energy Suspension change-out is not for the feint of heart. It is a true messy PITA with the burning out of the old, cleaning the hardware for re-use and install. I was looking for something longer lasting than stock and didn't need any of the 4-wheel/off road upgrades. Time will tell.

Thanks for posting this. I put in a new headunit that has Android auto and just had the USB cable flopping over the steering wheel. Had no idea such a product existed!

Anyone know the best quality UV protection film for headlights? I retrofitted an ebay housing and the clear coat on the lens in peeling and yellowed. Not too worried about it as I'm just going to sand it all off and polish to get them back to a nice finish but I would like to apply a nice sealant or UV film
