OK looking to get a full size spare, the questions is, to get one that matches or to just get a regular ole jammy jam spare.

That's cool, small world. You work on the Proving Grounds? Yea, I have not been yet personally but we are gonna rectify that this fall/winter. He has room to camp and I can't do that in temps above 65-70. It was part of the users guide of the tent I bought. I have seen the photos though and heard the stories. It is definitely a lot of shenanigans. Gun talk is encouraged in this thread, as well as freedom and the 2nd Amendment. Just not politics :bananadead:

Great looking truck. It will be easy to recognise you with your flags on the fenders like that. I almost put mine on the fenders. Hey we have a member on here that makes a no drill option for the license plate if you wanted to move that off our grill. I have one on mine. The guy's name on here is @ACEkraut Aaron. Great guy, and a quality part/mod.

Are you going to rotate it in? If not keep one of the old ones.

I take it you have one of the specialty subzero tents? I have an old Marlboro Advebture Team tent that my grandmother gave me when I was roughly 6. The tent's still kicking; I just have to reseal the rain fly flseams. They started to dry rot and break apart.

I'm all for gun talk. I'm actually trying to get into reloading in the near future and learned all about it but still need someone to physically walk me through it. I've got plenty of toys but the only place to really shoot near me is Elk Neck. I'm looking into some longer range firearms so I have to look into larger ranges, like Alexander's Shooting Farm down on the Eastern shore.

Thanks for the kind words. The flags were tough because I had a '13 Taco, manual trans, that I put those same flags on and 5 days later it got totalled. These flags outlived the old ones.

I'll have to take a look at that mount, it seems nice! I'm debating whether to invetlst in one or hold off since I'm looking to get a bumper with a winch some time soon. I want to be able to self-recover, and if I get a bumper, I'll end up having to find a way to mount my plate to that instead. Curse you, Maryland, and your silly front plates!

By the way, what year is yours? I'm considering replacing my grill, but I'm also thinking of just pulling it out, plastidipping it black, and reinstalling the existing one.

No pressure, just info. If you do purchase a bracket and then go with the winch bumper you can always sell it to another TW member in the marketplace to get most of your money back. Not a lot of them get resold but those that are posted don’t last long. And if your new winch bumper does not have a plate mounting solution I might be able to help. I do a one off custom bracket every now and again.

    And, welcome to Tacoma World!

Edit: Thanks for the heads up @RobP62

Thank you, my friend! Thinking about it, I may as well snag one. It's hot as balls out right now, and my wife is carpooling with me this week so I have to run the AC instead of opening the windows. Running the AC and doing 80 on I-95 is probably going to want a bit more airflow to my radiator. Should I just PM you?

Got my treads in as the free gift with my lift kit!
Got a quote from Jones (dealership)to build the coils for about the same price as the other places around me so I just dropped them off there. Hoping they will be able to clock it right the first time.
Leaf pack is still in limbo... Ironman said for me to wait till Friday and then call back. Already filed with UPS to try and find them.

Another good thing John, when you replace your bumper, you should be able to get more for it without any holes. At least that's my plan.

Yowza, $60 for a pair of handles. I might just build a set out of 550 paracord.

That's why they aren't on my truck. They are pretty though.

Yea, I can get some custom made paracord handles for $64 (heavy duty) or $40 (regular strength). And I need to look at that video Andrew @RedDeadTaco posted. I know there is another brand out there too.
