The Taco Garage?

So I ordered the TRD Pro Grille with lights and OEM Garnish from them on 07/31, and since then I’ve heard nothing from them. The item didn’t show to be back ordered, and I’ve gotten no response from emails and text messages I’ve sent them. I ordered it at the same time I ordered my Morimoto headlights, and I was hoping to install them all at one time. I’ve had my headlights for a week now. Anyone have any dealings with them?

If you go to their thread in the Buy/Trade/Sell section you'll see numerous complaints about long shipping times and a lack of responses to inquiries.

Yes, the stuff is good, and you will get it. But from time to time they get overwhelmed and behind, and forget that communicating is an important part of business. But hang in there. It’s good quality

 

My experience as well, product shipping times are very slow. But I believe the product is worth it. I got my grill after two weeks, hard to be patient though.

 

Just received my Pro Grill from them, excellent quality.
They do lack in customer communication, but the product is good.

 

I appreciate the replies . I’ve got no problem being patient, as long as the product arrives and the quality is good. I 100% get that there’s a global pandemic affecting production lines and working conditions. Thank you guys for your feedback.

 

I placed an order on the same day as you. A label was printed for my order but has not shipped yet. I emailed them but have not seen a reply yet.

 

There's a lot of vendors that sell the Pro grills, I know Taco Garage is often recommended on here, but that doesn't necessarily mean they deserve the business. I bought my grill and garnish from TruckAccessoryguys.com for $149 and received both 2 days later. Just do your research and decide if you're willing to put up with long wait times, a lack of customer service and more expensive prices then sure, go with Taco Garage. The good thing about Tacomas is there's lots of vendors to choose from. The reality is, the quality of aftermarket Pro grills will be similar around the board as they are all coming from China.

How was the garnish you received from TruckAccessoryguys? Was it scratched or was it legit brand new?

 

got my pro grille from them, good stuff, and was within 2 weeks, i'm sure covid is not helping with shipments, suppliers, etc.... give them some time.

 

It looked brand new, it had the plastic protective wrap I had to peel off. I didn’t see any scratches. The important part is the TSS hasn’t thrown any errors in 3,000 miles since I installed it. I did have to do add 4 washers to the top of the TSS, but you need to do this with other garnishes as well.

 

I guess I might have to pick the whole setup from them then. Thanks

 

I got a reply from an email I sent. Looks like there is a delay on the parts needed for the DMM mount I ordered. @CWill I hope you received a reply too.

 

Yeah I've gotten a few things from TG. The last attempt was the anytime camera mod and it ended up never shipping and given a refund... After days and days of no communicato. But unless it's the best mod ever I'm looking for I'm just going elsewhere for future purchases.
That said the DMM rocks though.

 

Update: The Good: Received my grille and garnish and couldn’t be happier with the quality.

The Bad: Order did not have the amber Raptor lights I paid for with my order. Hopefully they are just backordered or out of stock, but some notification of that before/during/after the order would have been nice.

 

And update to the update: I contact Taco Garage (around 0100 AM), made the first update on here, and they sent me a text/email within 30 minutes letting me know they were sending the missing Raptor Lights.
10/10, would recommend Taco Garage

 

+1 for Taco Garage. Pro Grill and TSS cover arrived a few days apart, I was confused When my TSS cover wasn’t included in box, sent them an email, and got a response with 12 hours saying it’s just arriving a day or two later from a different warehouse.
