Unless you're referring to the comments about people asking stupid questions? There's a thread regarding a transmission pan.

Didn't know Dallas was so sensitive :luvya:

Patrice O'Neal had a bit about asking for a receipt for everything he buys and if they don't have receipts he would make a fuss so the teller would remember him. So he always has an alibi.

Reminds me of the Mitch Hedburg bit about getting a receipt for a donut

'I bought a donut and they gave me a receipt for the donut. I don’t need a receipt for the donut. I give you money and you give me the donut, end of transaction. We don’t need to bring ink and paper into this. I can’t imagine a scenario that I would have to prove that I bought a donut.'

obviously it's not anywhere near as funny as when Mitch would say it with his unique delivery...RIP

I think I own that special, one of his best.
Mitch had the white guy's viewpoint and Patrice had the black guys viewpoint. Both were great comedians God rest their souls.

Firestone just called and there's coolant leaking into cylinder #3. Said they weren't able to see cylinder crack on their camera so headgasket likely shot, but will need headshop to one over it for me and refinish from what they said. Rip wallet, gonna wait a min for this

Fuck. I have no trust in the justice system to prove my innocence in that circumstance. I assure you if I'm sent to jail for a crime I didn't commit. They'll KEEP me in jail for something I did do

Tbh i suspected it in the back of my mind knowing all I've checked. I just never wanted to believe it. So what caused it if i never overheated the truck? Can running it hard do it, like going up north in third at 4k rpms? Id be losing speed if i didnt keep high rpms, can they just "go bad"? Az heat?

Overheating will definitely do it, the rest...maybe if you're unlucky? I'm sure they do just go bad over time depending on numerous circumstances but overheating is a sure way to make it happen

Thats why its good to run a OBDII gauge that monitors exact coolant temp, the dash gauge is not very accurate and by the time it tells you you're overheating you're in dangerous territory

You bought it used right? Never know if maybe someone else overheated it early on and started the damage that just got worse over time. Either way it sucks, sorry man

Just a forewarning you may still have a crack.. mine had one between the exhaust valves and I didn't know until I got it off and started cleaning the carbo off... If you wanna do it cheaper and have a weekend free. Buy a complete head assy

Scratch that... the company I bought my head assy from raised their price by 400 bucks :(

    https://www.toyotatruckengine.com/n...runner-2-7-2-4-dohc-cylinder-head-cam-shafts/

This is what I bought 3 years ago and it was 600 to my door, then bought a gasket kit and head bolts and went to town
