I have a similar idea in my head, but a much shorter "tray" under my toolbox. I want the excess tools out of my cab, tired of it. I found some incredibly nice drawer slides in a total pos falling apart cabinet. I need onboard air (tools) too. And a crane. So much to do work at/with work the timing couldn't be better, great paydays lately, no time to get to luxury of the truck though.

    Oh yeah, Tacoma

They will break in and fit better, after 2 weeks tighten them again and they will fit nicely. I had the same issue with mine

I can assure you that online parts store has some of the best prices and shipping prices there is! I ordered a bunch of stuff from them and if you ever have issues, they are very cool about it and accommodating!

I had the similar issue when trying to remove my tonneau cover to install the Softopper. My problem was the bolt was stuck and the threaded nut was spinning. I ended up removing the bed side cubby above the wheel well and using vise grips to hold the nut. After drilling off the head of the bolt I was able to use another set of vise grips to remove what was left of the bolt. Once the bolt was removed used a Rivnut setter to tighten the nut back to the bed side. good luck

To make a long story short, couldn’t find my keys and also couldn’t find my spares either. Good excuse to buy the switchblade key...lol!

Only problem, my AliExpress key programer doesn’t work, got a refund lol!

Received my new brake lines from Crown. Ordered right away, shipped and received in 3 days. Tried Headstrong. And they are on vacation or didn’t want to bother. Purchased Wheelers brand and in MHO they are junk compared to Crown.

no fancy colors—I ordered just black. Crown—made in USA

Ome 884, ome 90021, ome 60021, ome leaf pack, spc uca’s, Leer cap, bf k02s, carplay head unit, carhartt seat covers, 15% tinted windows, bed extender, power outlet in truck bed, spare tire lock
Dropped my 2010 DCSB SR5 off this morning as Slee Off Road here in Golden, CO, and will have a shiny new OME suspension system installed/aligned by this evening.

    Specific Kit:
    Front - 884's, 90021's, SPC UCA's
Rear - EL111R Leaf Springs, 60091's, OME U-bolts, drive shaft spacer, OME bushing kit

I am not running any full time weight outside of my Leer 100r cap, nor do I plan to add any aftermarket bumpers, winches, etc. This is why I chose to stick with the 884's and EL111R instead of 885's and Dakars.. can always AAL down the road and get 885's if I change my mind.

If anyone else has this same set up on their 2nd gen DCSB please chime in! Would love to hear your thoughts/ownership experience, and see before/after picks..

Rebuilt & revalved my Icon 2.5 front Coilovers.

New pistons, shim stacks, oil, seals, bearings and top hats.

Cost me a few hundred bucks and a Saturday worth of time, but they feel brand new!

I had about 100K miles on these and the shafts had zero pitting, the seals were actually still usable. The top hats were cracked though and lower bearings shot. I was a little disappointed because the seal head o-ring in the rebuild kit was too big. I think I will call Icon and let them know. Other then that super happy!

    On to the rears!
