Yes, red stitching and "TRD Pro" embroidered on the headrest. That's why they're different. :D

I've owned both a 2019 Sport and now a 2020 Pro. I can tell you the Sport suspension is better for highway driving. The Pro suspension is better for the shitty local roads we have here in New England.

As with all things, decide for yourself. I test drove the Off Road and hated it. The suspension was ridiculously squishy for my tastes. I don't see how anyone who drives remotely aggressively can stand it, personally.

My buddy hates his stock bilsteins on his OR. i drove it and the nose dive is crazy. Not a huge fan of that suspension. I could see it being amazing offroad though.

Stock? It should still be the questionable Toyo A30?

Replacement? Some 265/70R17 SL ATs are gonna work better in all conditions.

I did strongly disliked how the unloaded rear of my '13 Sport would bounce around our disintegrating back roads. God forbid you apply any acceleration while going through that, I'd lose traction immediately.
The Pro suspension has been perfect on and off road.

There is that, but I also learned a remedy for this from my sidecar days. Hearing the m/c side final drive loading and unloading was disturbing, esp as it was not a robust part. The trick was kicking in the sidecar drive and all that worrisome noise would disappear. Of course, it meant being sure the alignment was adjusted for that kind of use (no toe in).

That traction situation on the Taco, while nowhere near as severe, just has me flicking in 4Hi sooner. Everything stays nice and settled.

I said "starting price" for a reason. It's till cheaper configured the same. Plus the OR has crawl control (except Manual) and the rear locker which aren't available on the sport. For the price difference with the Pro, you can upgrade your suspension.

This is also true. And if that's important to you, more power to you. I'm more about practicality, and thus why my opinion is why it is.

I'm strictly of the 2WD philosophy. Full steam ahead on those washboards, carry a toolkit to reattach whatever falls off.

You know on second thought, if I had a softer suspension, maybe my cooler wouldnt chew through a bag of ice every 100 miles. :burp:

I get that, but the drive locking in wouldn't be finished by the time I was over the worst of the bumpy patch. I just learned to let go of the gas when my rear started jostling and focus on steering. Just the nature of our roads on the central and west side of the state.
Washboard roads were the exception. 4Hi and floor it :mudding:

The wheels are cool looking, but not really any better in terms of performance. The tires are the exact same.

That situation is mainly on washboard or pock-marked climbs here. Not so much short sections.

Like you, if it is just a patch, I just roll through it there.
