Some weird noises but no vibrations. The noises could have just been in my head though. Did fine on the freeway though

 

Do the weird noises sound like a supercharger? You didn't accidentally drive @crashnburn80 's truck home did you?

I went into my purchase history because these looked similar to a set I bought a little over a year ago. I couldn’t confirm, but it looks like a reposting of the set that I got (my set was no longer listed). I went through the hassle of disassembling the front end and replacing the headlights, driving to the nearest flat spot with 25 feet to back up, measuring out the distance and height, marking with tape, waiting until after dark, and doing the whole thing right so I could aim them correctly.

It was at that point that I realized the adjustment knobs were dummy and not actually attached to anything in the housing. Not great to find out 5 miles from home and now in the dark. I pulled them and put OEM back in. Amazon refunded me the full amount, and they are sitting in a box in my garage taking up space.

If you go this route, double check the adjustment knobs before installing. I posted my review and several others after mine experienced the same problem. That item page is no longer posted, and the link you shared doesn’t have much feedback right now, so I’d be cautious. If it were me, I would pass.

Picked up this Wilco tire carrier for a cheap price

 

Finished up my 4x4 conversion. Pretty happy with these cvj axles so far but only time will tell.

 

my wife is a 2nd grade teacher, so I know (kinda) what you mean by "life now is in the fast lane". She is in-classroom, but so much different now for both in-building and virtual. Good luck. Chin up.

 

I've tried a couple different styles of aftermarket lights and haven't had much luck. The last set were the Amazon blacked out ones and the beam pattern on those things was a joke. Plus one of them had quite a gap after I installed it. I know ppl like that look but it's not worth the loss of light output. Ask yourself what kind of product you're likely to get with a $149 set of headlights. The answer is shit.

I went with OEM Pro lights because I liked the smoked chrome and THEY WORKED.

Probably your best bet. Either that or some high-end retrofits that you can have painted the color of your choice but then you're looking at close to a grand I'm sure.

 

Yea its the cleanest looking option!

 

All 2nd gens should have came like this from factory just like the 1st gens

 

And they won’t pass inspection here so I’d have to swap every year not worth the hassle
