How is the brake fluid level and pedal feels? May be low on actual fluid or still have air in the system. Also check the conditions of the drums/parking brake switch, maybe it’s not fully releasing and parking brake switch that way doesn’t get signal correctly. If you have speed sensor damaged usually you would have abs light on with parking brake light same time.

Abs is on at all times as I have a kill switch installed. Bled all brake lines. Where is the parking brake switch located? I'll be replacing the speed sensor tonight hopefully.

Im thinking he means the adjustment screw in the brake drum? I doubt it would be that though and most likely a sensor as you mentioned.

cant say for sure but hopefully @Manfred can chime in. This thread discusses it.

this also may be helpful to determine the proper year hilux and some other odds and ends.

not sure if you know of a cowling snorkel. Also a good option depending how deep you plan on going.

I can’t remember where exactly on second gen with the pedal e-brake, but there is a actual switch that sends signal near there that may be simply stuck

It's right behind the pedal (see 04300310.pdf), secured with a single screw. Might be a victim of submersion years earlier.
