You can remove the end caps. I think it is a single bolt for each. Can not remove whole bar.

You can remove the end of it with a 17mm wrench but that is where the skid plate attaches to.

I was just curious, I took that plastic piece off (mines a sport so it comes with a flat plastic piece sticking straight down in front of it. Was just curious about smoothing out the angle from the bumper to the skid plate for looks basically. Bar doesnt bother me too bad but I was curious. Also that front end he did looks very good

In order to remove that low hanging crossmember- you have to build a custom solution higher cross bar & then build a custom ramped front skid plate. There are no quick solutions.

Lol, anything is possible if you’re willing to cut and weld. Didn’t think OP would be willing to go this far.
    Nice write up @EatSleepTacos

End caps should pop off to reveal a bolt for removal.

Only on TW would someone look under the skirt of your Taco and judge the cleanliness.

Unless you're into that kind of thing, don't put any value in it. It's a truck. Dirt is good.

Make sure you clean your dirty taco. Someone’s baking bread, and I think it’s sourdough.

On the positive side, ff you do remove any metal at all you will reduce the overall rust % in the years ahead.
