Anyone have a good bandaid for chafing on a remote reservoir line?

I went with Bilstein 5100's all the way around, on their lowest setting in front. OME 866 front coils, and Torch AAL's in the rear. The AAL's were supposed to give 1.5"-2", however I ended up getting 3" both front and rear. After driving for a week, the measurements were up 3" in the rear and 2.25" in the front.

    And yes, 265/70/17 5th gen 4runner wheels/tires off of my wife's 19 r4unner

Yep, removing the Germes harness and module gave me volume control which is rather nice to have. Still no backup camera yet though, a bit of a shrug on that so far...

Actually backup camera is good to go. Just doesn’t fire on auto in accessory. Can even see it while driving, just not via steering wheel control.

Next task is supplying power to the front camera. Almost started but time for zzz

    Any pics?

I’m planning to do 5100’s, toytec’s AAL (Rated for 1.5-2”) and gonna put wheelers (by eibach) T2 coil for 2 inches up front. a little afraid I’ll end up with more than the factory 1” rake which I’m trying to keep

After searching for a TRD Skid plate for weeks... one popped up for $300. No dents just dirt, nothing some simple green couldnt fix.

Installed it as the sun went down, shoutouts to my pops for helping me out, definitely easier to install with 2 people

Thanks! Very true, I like how these are not all connected together on one big sticker like the original.

And to lighten things up. My wife and I are 10 days into our eventual round the world trip and have sold our house and left the state of Oregon heading east blown through Nevada at 63 mph at 13 MPG while trying to avoid interstates

    2B8A9C47-E9C0-4CA3-8E9A-C640D83A5DA0.jpg

Drove the truck loaded up over passes nearly 8,000’ and it stayed at 50 mph @ 3,400 rpm in 4th gear; no need to push it.

Gentleman let’s stay on topic, please

Awesome! Can't wait for more updates!

And remember, when you're in Mexico, a "Taco" is a traditional Mexican dish :taco:, but when you're in Spain, the term "Taco" means "cuss word" :censored:.

Swapped out my Halogen factory fog lamps to 6000k color point LED's. Much nicer at night. Next up is high beam swap with Philips LED's again to match the color point of the factory HIDs

Thumbs Up for taping off the plastics, I do the same thing, haven't waxed or polished the Tacoma yet but always did it with my FJ.
