I just purchased my 2020 and trying to hunt down some things for this...
Does anyone know of replacement storage compartments for under the rear seats?
Trying to avoid getting a bed box and if I didn't have to worry about a car seat I would just rip out the back seats.

*EDIT* now that I am thinking about it, there probably aint a whole lot that can be done back there

There is not much that you can do with a car seat as the Convenience Package has different storage covers that won't work with the rear seats.

My teenage daughters ride back there all the time, so the seats should continue to be useful when your kid grows up?

These tool boxes are used by a lot of folks to level the floor for a platform:

They might be handy for you?

I actually googled it and found a bunch or stuff about those. I have a teenager and a 4 year old and my teenage daughter barely fits back there (we are a little tall). My main thing isn't about having more storage, was hoping to make the storage that is back there useful to me. Basically, I have no where to put my AR pistol. I am probably just going to have to figure out a secure and accessible box to mount in the bed for this.

There are threads around here about secure boxes that fit in the center console?

I don't think there is much that can be done with the existing rear storage. The bed cubbies can be sealed and camlocks added in place of the knobs. I've done that on mine.

Actually, the same can be done on the rear seat covers. Yeah, it is only plastic, but it might accomplish what you want?

When I gave a ride to a friend and their daughter in a full size cars seat, I was surprised to see that I could get it installed without having to move the front seat more than a notch forward. We're both about 6ft.

Honestly, there isn't much more room in the back of a DC. The thicker cushions and storage behind the seats steal a lot of that extra space.

Security isn't a problem... It is space that is the issue. I am going to just have to buy something for the bed :(

With the pass through between the two lids, I believe folks said that they could store a rifle in there?

Not with optics on it. I am just going to hunt down a decent box and mount that in the bed
