anyone talk to A BUGS LIFE? He owe's me money & ignores my pm's/texts!!!

anyone talk to ZACK TW NAME "A BUGS LIFE" this guy sold me some shot shocks. i had started a thread about this 2 months ago, he had taken responsibility for selling me them then deleted his comment to save his ass. i even said it wasnt him so his rep wouldnt get messed up on here, he told me he didnt care what anyone on here thought of him, but still i covered for him. we agreed he would pay me back half of what i paid him and he told me to give him over a month to pay back after oct. 24th(after he paid his traffic ticket), i contacted him the 28th of OCT. said he only had about 2 bucks to his name. so i told him just pay me Nov. 10th, i pm him and text him and he doesnt reply, i do a search of his tw name and only old posts show up. so i dont know if he has me on his ignore list. watch out for this guy dont trust him. some other guy told me he screwed someone else on here for some shocks with spacer lifts. i didnt want to do this but its just messed up what he did especially after i covered for him and gave him time to pay up, i tried to work something out with him trading me some parts off his truck since he said he didnt have money but he said he likes those parts, just giving me run around i guess. whatever he owes me $60 bucks half of the shocks i bought off him but just dont want him to screw someone else on here for more money!

Sounds like you gave him the opportunity to make it right and he has defaulted. I dealt with three different guys on here all were great transactions. Id say most are honest here, you just met one that wasnt. How do you know the shocks are shot? how were they described?

more info is on original thread started, link on 1st post. i took them to get rebuilt to leeper mfg cuz zack told me dave leeper owed him a favor that he called dave leeper and leeper would rebuild for free. i went over to leeper and leeper chuckled(pretty much laughed in my face but held it in) and said he didnt do rebuilds and never said would rebuild for free or that he had even talked to zack about him doing this. i dont want to get too much into it anymore. i pretty much see it as a loss of 120 bucks since this guy doesnt appear to be paying up anytime soon or at all.

 

have you attempted to get them rebuilt? Other than at Leeper

 

just posting this up so other guys wont buy from him or buy with caution from him... seemed like a good kid...

 

yes took them to trent hauber who does rebuilds on the side or at the gmr in long beach. he's the one that showed me they're shot. the pics are on the thread i started 2 months ago. it wouldve cost much more to get them rebuilt than what they were worth. this guy trent hauber has tons of experience check his background as posted by chris4x4

i still cant believe this happend, ive dealt with 4 or 5 guys here on TW and everyones been good/honest. it was only one incident where it was my fault when i was selling my mudflaps to iamrizayan(im pretty sure i spelled it wrong haha) and there was a crack that i didnt know exhisted but it was all good and i sold them to him for super cheap, i just dont get how someone cant be honest. oh well thats just the way the world is

Getting ripped off sucks, at least your not out $500.00 like I was to the crooks at Roussel Toyota in New Brunswick. All the good people I have dealt with make up for the occassional crook that comes along. Cheers.

I think I would be very hesitant to deal with anyone who thought a train horn is a "must have" mod.
