Ordered cover plate and pads only but received the full package with bolts. I believe it's 3/8-24 x 1.25" with back nuts.

    this and that...
i love the mechanical whine. its definately audible when its quiet. however, if your radio is turned on then the sound is drowned out. if i recall, i do remember a couple of the bolts was an effin pain to get secured. i forgot what i did but i think i just inched it on little by little till it was nice and snug lol.

Got 'er done today. I ended up just using m8x30 hex head screws and a crows foot for the front two. It was fairly easy to do that way.

For the boots I kinda ignored the directions. Instead of cutting the stock inner boot, I separated it from the outer boot and metal plate. After pulling off the CORE boot, I stretched the inner stock one over the pedestal for a very tight fit. Once it was slid down and tucked, it sat very nicely and lined up with the screw holes. After I put the CORE boot over I installed the outer stock boot and the narrow part ended up fitting around the stick mounting screws nicely.

For the knob, I used the adapter linked here: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/core-shifter-for-3rd-gen-v6.589705/page-3#post-20949484

It worked perfectly for my Ti knob. I used loctite to secure the adapter to the Hurst stick first, making sure to let it cure. Once it was never coming off again, I got the right shims and aligned the knob.

It looks pretty much stock, but holy hell it doesn't fee like it. I haven't even taken it out for a test drive yet and I can already feel the difference. The rubber damper in the stock shifter made more of a difference that I thought it did. I've got some errands to run tomorrow so I'll wait until then to see how it feels. So far, I think I'm going to love it.

yeah you will love it, no doubt about that. it's a stiff SOB in the beginning but will loosen the tension some while keeping the definition.

about how much does your Ti weigh? my whole knob & extension bit is around 200g only after using a 700g knob on the URD SS.

According to @7r41lbr34k3r it is about 400g, but I never actually weighed it myself. I have a feeling it's going to be fine.

that will be a good balance. over that you lose some clarity & definition, but the feel is different. I'm on the notchy side by choice, a little more weight would smooth it out some but i prefer the click & pop i get with low weight.

Yep, after driving for 15-20 miles today I'm happy. I would say this is how it should be from the factory, but that's not fair. This would not be ideal for 90% of the people that drive an MT. It is however exactly what I wanted. Clean, solid, and mechanical. I don't feel like it's as notchy as some people say, and it definitely isn't hard to find the gates, but it is precise.

If you don't like the sloppy donky dong stock shifter, this is your answer. Forget the URD. My shifter doesn't bounce around anywhere close to what it did either stock or with the URD.

I tried that along with flattery and Chris got a little testy. He stated when the parts come in, 1-2 months, the sold out banner will go down, then we can order.

    Ahhhh bummer...........

So, his website won't even accept an order eh? I'd watch daily for that banner to go down cause you've gotta git yourself one of these!

Like mentioned above, I grin everytime I grab my knob! (Hey, get your minds outta the gutter!)

very unlikely youll find one of these used. its just that worth it, plus i doubt someone would wanna go through the hassle to take it off and put the stock one back in if they were to sell the truck lol. just keep checking the website periodically, you wont regret it.
