Who gets tired of hearing that the TRD Sport 4x4 isn't off road capable? It's a Toyota truck!!

Hrmm interesting. I may have to try that out as a quick half way solution to fully locking or using crawl to do the front. But I thought toyota put in some safety mech that will cut power when brake and gas are applied at the same time?

Do I still have to do that in 4 low and the stuff is already switched off? Wondering if 4 low automatic off is one of those "kinda offs until you really fuck up" type of "off" or if its really off lol

I'd have to dive into the manual. I'm pretty sure it's all off (thus the lights on the dash), but I don't want to give you bad information.

I've got three pedals and a locker, so it's not something I do much of these days. Haha

Yeah, I'm just gonna have to try it next time im in 4 low and see what happens. I think last time it was snowing I tapped the off button, and it let me slide more but eventually kicked back on. I held it, and I was doing 180 spins, but both times the light on the dash lit up so I will just have to play with it and see.

Yup. The tap does the lsd. You want the long hold until Trac off shows up.

That is some commitment. I would have gone out to the garage and done the same, but I'm supposed to be "working" and people wont leave me alone on a friday...

I bought my off road for the locker but sports are good too . Let’s not forget the old indestructible take anywhere 80’s 4x4 pickups did not offer a sport or pro /off-road trim . I don’t really care about the stickers or scoops I would have just paid for the locker as an option but Toyota doesn’t build to suit . They allocate so I own a OR .

These threads always come off like a bud light commercial. Everyone arguing over an appreciation for the same thing .

    Tastes great!

    Less filling!

Yup. I’ve never seen panties being thrown at a locker. Just as well cause most of OR guys have never seen panties... besides their own.

edit: I don’t mean that in a bad way.
