Yeah I think most of us are going to be okay with the 4th. But where should we meet at and stuff like that? Also, who is going to lead the trail run?

    4th should work for me.

I can lead if need be, I won't have a clue in the world where I'm going... but that will make it an adventure for all of us ;). Or Greg can lead/tell me where to go. Whatever works.

Who else might be coming to join us?

I'm still up for it and I'll be bringing a friend in his Jeep as well, so there's at least 2 people. If you come, there's 3. Maybe the snow people will be bored with skiing by then... ;)

Count me in. I'm not familiar with many of the trails at five mile but we can wing it. :)

Since there's trails going in just about every direction, it shouldn't be bad to find a trail. No clue how much snow they got with this last storm though, but its been fairly light on the south side of the valley, so I cant imagine they got all that much either. I guess we'll just have to see next week.

I am rethinking my ideas about trying some of rattlesnake with this recent storm though. Granted that most of it can probably be bypassed, I dont think doing it my first time sounds like a great idea with snow/ice.

Depending on how it looks, if you have chains, it might not be a bad idea to bring them along just in case. I'm thinking about getting some myself since they've been on my list for a while anyway.

Then again, if its a little slick, about the only place we might have issues is Shawn's Hill anyway.

Cool. I wont be a baby this time about going since I will have my Icon setup installed and my Trail Grapplers will be here Monday. I just need to get some snow chains. Anyone have a place they recommend to get some chains for big tires?

Oh sweet! I am looking at getting some Trail Grapplers for my next set of tires so you'll have to let me know how you like them. I'm not familiar with snow chains though. I dont think I am going to get any before the meet. I got Christmas gifts to buy!!!

Nitro Trail Grapplers look nice. The name just seems a little too trendy for me though. I was originally going to go with the BFG KM2 when I decide to fit some 35s, but I saw some others that really caught my eye. The Mickey Thompson MTZ's. Only problem is that no one really sells those around here except 4wheelparts. So, I'm going with either one or the other.

I was thinking I'd have time to pick up some chains before next week, but I think think thats going to happen myself either. Hopefully we wont all get stuck too bad. I may still see if I can hunt some done if I get a moment.

Sounds like a plan to me.
