I spent some time last night looking at your tune and comparing it to the OV 2.0 Prem THX stock 35 tune I’m currently running but wanting more from. I think the thing that may help most is a list of the maps you have changed. Then people can go through map by map, opening yours and the one we want to change side by side and alter other tunes to achieve similar results.

Can you clarify this, are you getting full open throttle regardless of gear or only in 1st? I'm still messing with the airload tables to try and get full throttle in every gear from 1000-7000 revs.

I'm just about to test with the unedited Throttle map to confirm. I love the Linear Throttle edit everywhere but tip in.

If just for individual map edits, the other way is for folks to Copy and Paste the edits into a spreadsheet and share it.

Most of what I did was Throttle inputs and shift changes. This is what makes ME happy for MY driving stile with MY truck 04B04 on 33's with stock gears and around 700 pounds of additional weight over stock as daily driven. Use these as a starting point, NOT the bible. You'll notice on the screenshots the (open files names) being "photographed" changed. That's because I realized the file I chose first, didn't have the shift points updated, but otherwise they're identical.

1: The only change to ACIS was 2nd value lowered to 3400. Leave the rest alone! Makes for much smoother feeling "engagement of powerband"

    2:Airtable adjustments per Mat's Post: https://www.tacomaworld.com/posts/24143210

3: 3D throttle map, all values but last two (88.9) upped values by highlighting press (*) on 10-key pad and multiply by 125 and save

4: 2D throttle maps, most values just upped by *125 as well. I think I left highest one or two alone. You can just type what I have shared to be sure.

5: This is where it really becomes more vehicle specific. Mostly adjusted upshifts by *115.. I think. Downshift 5-6 I *85? to lower the shift point so it's not hunting so much.... Just watch the values. Or copy them to be sure.

6: Same thing, copy the values to be sure, idea behind this was I liked 1 through 3rd while towing, but wanted truck to hold 4th and not go into 5th unless I'm doing 70+ mph. Also lowered 3-4 downshift so it's not hunting so much

No AGM changes have been done on my files, as I still run factory battery. I have not done the "latest" throttle limit adjustments nor have I touched cruise control (I hate cruise control)

Disclaimer: This is a general guide of what I did and you may want to do or use to work off of to get your truck the "performance" feel I was going for. Also, 2nd gear does go to 6500 RPM when to the floor. Haven't had the road for trying 3rd gear yet.

    Sharing is caring.
Nobody is taking $ outta Mats pockets by sharing a tune. I wouldn't think most of my values would even necessarily work on a different ECU ID. They can make all the changes that I did, Im just helping them out with time savings.
(Yes it's lazy on their part :D)

    I like the default (Mat’s) 2.0
I like the 2.0 91 4.88 33” file fine. Just wish I could add a little more throttle response to 4-6 gears

Maybe a tiny bit of it in 3rd too

Kill the Torque Limits and mess with the Air Control maps. Those seem to be the same as Stock. I have them all posted in the Perf and Tune forum thread.

Just remember, you guys that are giving people fish rather than teaching them to fish..
    Some will keep coming back.
If we've learned anything from this 3+ year journey, there's NO pleasing everyone. Not even close lol.
Just my opinion, no need for panties to get knotted.

I think the Throttle map edit might have been my issue. Just one drive in so far. Needs more settling and roads.

Anybody know if or how to sh*tcan the Atkinson's cycle yet? That's really all I feel I need yet.

There's Atkinson map in my vF ECU. No idea what it all means or how to edit it.

There, it might be beat to wait on the Tow tune?
