    @Manfred runs a white truck.

This was on hwy 11 northbound (but still about 30km) away from huntsville

I was dead convinced it was you because you mentioned about getting a new ARB bumper after taking a hit. I only had ever seen that cap in that colour ( hard to tell in the dark but it was red) on apparently not your truck :cookiemonster:

Oh well, ill only be able to know who that is if they speak up. But for now, another 2 hour drive to go

Howd that harness sensor get ripped off? Isnt it in an odd spot?
Vibration might be tires, but check the balance - might of knocked a few weights off over time. Thats what happened to me. In regards of lights - get something quality. My new 40" bar paid for itself tonight.

Not too sure how the sensor got ripped off. The previous owner of my truck was pretty hard on it. I've already had to put a transmission in it. Maybe thinking it's possible to get ripped off if you got stuck bad enough, maybe high centered on the rear diff?

Vibration is a weird one. I never feel it while driving so I don't think it's a balance thing. It's like taking off from a stop sign in first gear it feels a little bit choppy under load. When towing you feel it a lot more. Had the rear end looked at by the shop that did the trans and they said it looked in spec and blamed the tires. Both my mechanic and that shop were saying that these bigger tires can do weird things when they get older? Not too sure.

Thanks for the suggestion on lights, not sure if I love the look of a light bar but definitely want to get something quality with some high output. Good thing you were able to spot those deer/moose (can't make it out exactly in the pic). Nothing sucks more than cracking up your vehicle on an animal, let alone the risk of serious injury to you.

Thats bizzar with the vibration then, but i only just got 33s for the first time so im not sure how larger tires react over time. Hopefully it is just the tires and once you swap them over things settle down.

Light bars come in all shapes and sizes, KC (think its hi-lites) and ARB both still make round lights if you prefer the old school style. Why i brought it up was to look into a quality light since there is a difference between amazoom special and something like the speed demon i got.

But yeah - nothing sucks more than not seeing what you're about to hit. Especially in the middle of nowhere

yeah big time. I'm going up north of Kingston this weekend so without any real light upgrades I'll be driving a bit slower.

I think I'd be into something round rather than the bar. I think that round lights compliment the curves or these second gens a bit more. But that's just me. When I decide on something I'll post up what mess I get into.

Rear Prop shaft to pinion angle, (if it's lifted look at the pinion angle and maybe getting angled leaf spring shims)
    Rear U-Joint
    Rear leafs worn out.

Would be things I would look at for vibration on take off.

You might be on to something. my truck also has bags in the rear. I find that with the bags half filled I get less vibration than when they are empty. I have to take a close look to see if the leafs are original or were replaced. My frame was fully redone about 20k ago. they did a lot more than the frame, control arms, hardware, etc were also done

edit also nice to see an EP3 owner as well

That looks cool. What tent is it? How does it look collapsed or does it come off entirely rather than stay RTT style?

That looks awesome! Post some more pics of how it's mounted and what it looks like when it's down.

    This is it set down,
And this is "packed away to drive". Its just a tarp but havent figured out how to make a decent over yet. Might do the same thing as the rain fly and make a pouch with and elastic bottom to hold it in place
    IMG_20200919_121933.jpg
Right now its mounted to 4 square u-bolts that are 2 inches long and connected to my bed cross bars i built a while ago.

IMG_20200919_130540.jpg sets up and packs away within 10minutes at most. (Only put up and set down twice so far)

Im not the first one to think of this :cookiemonster:
Got my inspiration from this fella
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/cheap-rtt-for-those-on-a-budget.478273/

For $300 for this thing, i can't be happier.
The $1000 saved from a TrAdItIoNaL RoOf ToP TeNt
I can put and inverter into the truck and run an electric blanket. And have $800 left for gas

I was looking in the back if llamasmurf's truck and noticed he had no back seat.
Well since its always only me in the truck why not.
So I took everything out and put some boards there.

    I'll see how it goes....

excuse the use of hardware lol. its what I had on hand for now...
