99 taco pre runner! My poor baby!!! I hit a bull elk and stranded not too many Toyota’s around here! Need to know if 96-97 T100 front end parts will cross? Or any 4Runner any help would be greatly appreciated!
    PS
I hope I did this correctly first time!

You could get a 4R front to fit, look like you need to replace most the front end stuff anyway.

Give me a minute to think of who’s currently swapping

Well, I mean, technically anything is possible with enough :sawzall: and :welder:

3rd gen 4Runner front fenders/hoods etc will fit, although I don't think it's a straight bolt on. There are several people who have put 4runner front ends on Tacomas. Search around for "4runner front end on a tacoma" or something like that and you'll see their builds.

Yup some mild modifications. I’ll link some custom Tacos threads in a bit. I’m currently held up on mine because I’m learning to weld. And need to replace my core support frame mounts.

So your only options are to order a lower quality Tacoma RockAuto fender apron/core support, somehow find a Tacoma locally in a yard (unlikely like you said), or find a 1996-2002 4Runner to take parts off.

@RedManRocket Talks about this swap in a TW thread. My plan is to put a 1999 4Runner passenger fender apron, core support, and hood on. While retaining the undamaged Tacoma driver fender apron. Here is a detailed Custom Tacos thread. It only fails to mention an issue with the Tacoma hood hooks contacting the 4Runner hood hinges. They will just need to be cut off. I've heard people say the 4Runner fender apron is an inch longer. I'll need to double check this because my initial measurements didn't indicate that.

No sir. T100 front end will not fit. 1996-2002 4Runner front end will work with modification. Toyota Pickup front end won’t work either.

If you still got that fender apron from the 4 runner I'll take it

The driver fender apron? Didn't pull it off the 4Runner in the yard. Going to try and install the core support and passenger apron as one piece. Haven't cut out my bent up passenger apron yet so it can hold a tarp over the engine bay.

Passenger apron is what I'm after. Just don't have time anymore to go to the yard. So waiting for one to come along.

Yeah I shrugged it off as an easy pull. First trip my Dewalt 14.4 drill gave up on life. Second trip the yard closed two hours early. Third trip they opened late and closed early. Fourth trip I got it out in the first 10 minutes. Glad I had other reasons to drive 1.5 hours away to that yard.
