    Maybe I'm just extra dumb, but I still can't get OVTune to work after my laptop updated. I sent the new info to Mat, got a response with the new registration, but flash manager buttons are STILL greyed out...

    Did you turn off “real time protection“ in windows defender?
    I also look in windows defender to make sure it doesn’t quarantine that file.

    I thought I had added permanent exceptions but I don't know for sure. I despise this laptop and especially windows 10, avoid them like the plague if I can help it. currently trying to uninstall EVERYTHING OVTune related since I had like 5 icons on the desktop for I don't know what functions. Gonna try a clean install from scratch

    We are working on implementing a new software protection method that is more windows defender friendly.
    Because it seems like every time windows does an update it resets your exceptions and deletes our software.
    Also if you turn it off, it turns back on after an update.

    What are y'all's procedures for resetting LV and AT? Flash new tune -> then what? Do you idle for X min first? Do you reset AT with the engine running?

    Interesting... Rafael indicated the engine should not be running to reset LV (as you have said) but that it should BE running to reset AT. I was unsure so I reached out to see what common practice is.

    I initially loaded the 1.05.1 87 octane on my truck (but did not reset LV or AT) and it ran great, head and shoulders above stock. I wanted to see what kind of mpg or power boost I would get with 93 octane so I filled my truck up with premium over a few refuels and then flashed the 1.05.1 93 tune (this time I reset LV and AT). After several hundred miles the shifting still does not agree with me. I'll slowly give it more gas at 55 mph or so and don't get power and then it will suddenly drop to 3rd or 4th and I'm at like 5000 rpm and have too much power. Also seems to shift much harder.

    Going back to the 87 tune now.

    AT will reset with engine running but not LV. Both will reset with engine not running.

    Some have had luck with flashing a tune over the same tune without resetting LV or AT. This yielded, to those who’ve reported, much better results.

    As of now ditch Lights
    Hey all So this has probably been answered but there are 3427 pages to this thread, I just got the Ov tune and was sent the VFT files after sending in my ECu info. I went to flash the ECU with 2.0 and tried to calibrate to the 91 stock with 33and 87 stock 33 VFT files this prompts a data file corrupt. when I switch to 1.05.1 I am able to flash to 91 performance and 87 with the files that you are able to download. Would anyone happen to know a fix to this? I have turned off all Virus scanning and protection and i still seem top get these errors. I have also tried flashing the VFT files under the 1.05.1 version.
