We've covered this in detail. If you want to keep lying I will post the entire PM. Just because you have dealt with 100s of members does not automatically mean it's impossible for your kit to have messed up parts and it's not always the customers fault, like @MY50cal , myself, and others who have contacted me via PM.

You sent me replacement parts, that I paid for, not for free, and the damn replacement parts are chewed up. W..T..F.. Useable, not a job stopper, but still "new" and chewed up. You are sending me a seal, that's so nice of you, I still have to perform work on your brand new parts to make them proper. Does that not sink in? Good faith?

You were notified of the problem on Mar 23. I didn't start to post in the thread until Apr 1, after your request because you assumed I was a moron. On Apr 4th, after multiple multiple posts and PMs with detailed pictures and measurements you said you still don't understand the problem (this was you avoiding it until you had an out... me replacing the needle bearing, which has proven to be not the problem). Where was I immediately a drama queen in the post? Pointing out your kit faults that prevent proper assembly is not attacking you, nor being a drama queen.

You told me you wouldn't meet up citing the virus, now you say you wouldn't meet up because you need to fill out a hurt feelings report.

ALL of this would have never happened had you acted like a stand up individual and stood behind your products LIKE YOU SAID YOU DO, I gave you the option to keep it in PM's, you said post it, here I am, I have proof.

You can try and twist this back around to make me look like the bad guy, for the 5th time, but actions speak louder than words..

The vendor review section will be much more articulated with dates, quotes and pics when I get around to it.

Please send a tracking # on that seal once it's sent :)

Actually done with this thread now, especially since I have a spare CV to play with.

At the end of the day, you were taken care of. You will have received what you paid for- even after all your drama. You want to act as if someone did you wrong, as if all this was on purpose. It didn't have to be like this, but you worked yourself up into a hissy fit. Have I been feeding it, absolutely.
I can only imagine you have the male version of this haircut, sorry I don't have any coupons to give you.

I just ordered the replacement seal as you requested, I'll give you the tracking when I receive it.

I got nothing but time and facts if you wanna keep going Chad. You have nothing but a computer to hide behind.

How did you “take care of me”? I had to buy parts ($270, for my beaver cv) to fix this.

Did you mean to say at the end of my month long ordeal of chinese parts, poor tolerances and nothing but “its not my kit, the parts were brand new”...”the aisin hubs are installed wrong causing the drag, anyone that knows aisin hubs knows that” ...“look at the video, this is obviously above your mechanical ability”.... “did you turn the knob on the dash to 4wd”.... “the needle bearing isn't the same, that is the problem”..... “my dimensions are top secret remove them immediately”... “I will not meet you in person theres a virus” “I'm deployed i have no internet”(but I'm local and not gonna tell you when I'm back to call/text/meet up to clear this up like men) ... after all that complete spew of bullsh*t for a month from you, I now paid for more (chinese) parts to fix your “kit”.... and thats your definition of taking care of me? Professional. Let me tell you.

If naming the country of origin of your parts is spamming and bashing, might want to source different parts. Don’t get butthurt I figured out your durago 40 dollar hubs.

I’m posting facts, you are posting pictures of a woman's haircut... are we done yet?

Also, since the info was deleted to clarify for future members...

This kit was $990 until a few members cited issues with parts not fitting, chad denies it was his kit, but overnight the kit price went to 1700 and there was a post saying he only would use oem parts. I did not see the oem parts reference in a brief look back. Not sure what else he will manipulate. Just keeping things honest.

I don't claim those hubs as "my parts". There's no options, it's those or dealership hubs (which is what the $1700 reflects, price of kit with dealership hubs) I gave you a hub for free, to replace the supposed bad one - you chose to purchase another custom joint (you didn't have to buy one, that was on you). The seal is over molded and someone scratched the metal trying to clean up the excess, cry me a fucking river - I'm giving you a new seal.

You keep spamming with lengthy gibberish, attempting to overwhelm, going over and over the same shit. Stop spamming and bashing my For Sale thread, this isn’t a discussion thread.

“Someone” scratching the seal all to hell is no big deal, got it. Thats your definition of new, ok.

Thank you so much for the free 30 dollar seal after a month of this. I greatly appreciate it.

...and suddenly the super secret kit now isn’t even chad’s claimed parts. You use them in your kit but make no claims to them? Holy jesus you can’t make this up.

    Goodnight yall.

Why not I have a custom set of axles and don't want to spend a lot of extra money on parts I'm not going to use.

So I’m considering doing this, my inner cv’s are shot and I would like to do the fj diff tube and this manual hub conversion. However after seeing the shit show this thread turned into, albeit with one customer, I am apprehensive about making the purchase. Can anyone else chime in and reassure me? Also, would anyone be able to chime in and give a review of performance and real world review of the product?

I’ve dealt with OP for other products and have nothing but good things to say. Shady people wouldn’t stick around. I’ve not gotten these yet, plan on in the future.

Since being able to assemble this without fitment issues, I have had no issues. I also did the FJ diff tube and tcase.

Hopefully everyone who PM’d me will do the same for you. Others that had issues with this kit preferred to PM me, they felt if they posted chad would refuse to sell them replacement parts if they ever needed it. Still getting random PM’s concerning this every once in a while, I don’t mind answering questions. Lots of people have dealt with the OP for hub press services. A monkey can press bearings into a hub and sell them with little to no issues.

If I did it over again I would buy parts from SidelineHero, which is who chad ripped the idea off from. If you search his old username chaddawkins you will dig up all the previous drama from chad’s “kit”.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/oahu-deals-and-craigslist-finds.265722/page-263

It starts there, you can go pages back or forward to get the idea. There is other threads too, the more you dig the more you find. Chad being himself years ago, he hasn’t changed.

IF you enjoy customer service like I got, then drop chad that paypal and order this kit.

    Oh wait...

    765168CF-778E-48E1-8691-B92A8F3CFD8C.jpg

Usps money order or Zelle are the only forms of payment accepted for this kit You know.. only accepts payment that provides no form of protection for the buyer, and no path for returns.

    Enjoy!

Thanks for your reply, this is something I didn’t even think would be an issue. I am already running 35’s and I have a twin stick fj case waiting to be installed. I’ve been considering the manual hub conversion and fj tube for quite some time. However I don’t like the idea of being stuck trying to source replacement parts from someone on a forum, which aren’t readily available in the case of a mechanical failure, or trail breakage.
