No it doesn't.... I mean, it's not like your truck will die on you while backing out your driveway if you smooth the tables completely. :p:D

For the rookies... don't do that, your truck won't like it. :D

My stock Phase Duty 1 and Phase Duty 9 was around 14 and 64, respectively. Am I going to fry anything by upping it to 82.265 and 94.234? Mat said the alternator controls in the 18+ ECUs are different than the earlier generations.

    :rofl::rofl:

Not that kind of difference, but this small changes can certainly be felt and can make the driveability quite annoying.

@OVTune and other folks, I updated my post with the final two wish list items that I couldn't remember yesterday. I know some of that stuff is a long shot, but . . .

Sorry for the long post and many questions!

I made the same changes to First Gear Throttle Limiter and got the same results.
How do those of us with AT's get Full Throttle in 1st Gear?
Is there some information that I am missing out on?

I feel like with the changes i made this morning, i may be able to smooth out dfco and maybe even tackle some of the rev hang issue.

I found some interesting results while testing this week and the changes i made this morning confirmed some theories.

Btw, i had the smoothest drive with available power this morning that this truck has ever had.

The question is how far can i take it before i run into driveability issues (lack of power) or the truck stalling while coming to a stop.

    We will see.....

When the update that allows us to edit the x and y axis comes around i think dfco issue is a goner.

I was able to cruise in first gear to 1000 rpm this morning, it still let go of course but it was extremely smooth.

I need more drive time the confirm further

I just copied these shift points in my 04A61 2018 and man the truck feels great. So nice cruising around at 30-35mph in the city at 1500rpm instead of 1000rpm like it used to and lug. I changed everything to the same values you stated except the throttle points %. I upped my only 15% since I’m still on stock tires and not much added weight. Feels about right for my liking, but after it settles I may go 20% to see if it’s a big difference.

When upping the throttle points percentage the higher values go above 100. Is that fine to leave them at that or should I just adjust those down to 100 for all the ones that exceed 100? This is my first attempt to adjust a map on VF Tuner so I’m still trying to figure everything out.

I just had a flash fail with an error about data corruption... weird.
I closed everything, I'm going to launch p5 from vf instead of standalone which is the only difference i can think of. :goingcrazy:

Now to wait 10 minutes until VF opens :D

Note: I tried 2 different files, both failed. One had previously flashed successfully a week or so back

You cannot flash VFT files from the FM Flash Tool. VFT files can only be flashed with the vF Flash Tool.

I believe that @Shellshock said that the vF Flash Tool executable can be found in the installation folder ( \Program Files (x86) \ vF, or something like that?), so that you don't have to launch vF just to use that Flash Tool.

All good homies - lesson here is to open the flash utility from inside of VF.

Makes sense - i noticed it was looking for encrypted files when it was flashing from the standalone launch.
i searched in windows for flash manager and it was the first one that came up :)

I'll create a shortcut on my end.

Also, side note, can i activate and use VF on my laptop AND desktop?

side side note - when can we get a burble tune?! pow pow!

I believe that you can have only one active vF installation?

My advice would be to get a display adapter for your desktop monitor and just extend the display? I also have a USB number pad for when there is a lot of data entry needed with a laptop:
    https://www.amazon.com/Sunreed-Ultra-Thin-Portable-Microsoft-Compatible/dp/B07KF8TPW6

The one that I have has extra USB ports also.

Yeah. If you want to flash vft files YOU MUST use the vF flash tool (c:\program files (x86)\vf tuner\)
