Can someone direct me to the plug replacement video post number without removing the blower?

I let that one slip by me. I bookmarked it on page 1 under the spark plug section.

Also guys, I realize there is a lot of info on the OP. I made a note of it but I would also suggest you use your browsers built in search function to take you directly to the section you are looking for that way you aren't wasting a ton of time manually searching and potentially overlooking the section you were searching for in the first place.

 

2nd that the TW search function is a gamble but Ctrl + F does the trick.

 

RPMs are arriving today. Hopefully some of the harder shifting was due to the belt catching and were back in business. I may take @12TRDTacoma and shim the 2 idler pulleys near the blower pulley our a 1/16 or so. Mine is pressed on more but is at the outer edge of the lower idler.

 

Yeah. That’s the plan. There’s a bit of a lip in there than needs to go away.

Hopefully they will survive where the stock cats wouldn’t.

 

Installed one on @Lucario Runner 's truck not too long ago. I believe the GESI brand makes them for OEM's. That would require further investigation, since I do not remember exactly.

 

My existing studs are on good shape. I hadn’t planned to replace them. Maybe I should have a set of new ones on hand “just in case” eh?

There’s an “EPA approved” and a Non. lol. I wonder what the actual difference is between them. Besides the price.

 

blah you guys get all the good stuf. event EPA approved is not CA approved... Headers would be so rad to add. I feel the exhaust right now is limiting so much potential.

Yes RPMs are here! Grabbed an extra just in case. will be nice to not have to cut this.

 

Probably nothing. Just the extra cost for epa testing and certification.

thank you kind sir. I pussed out at first and then after beer 5, team America theme started playing in my head and I remembered how much crap I had to take off to get the blower out of the way. It really wasn’t that bad. I only needed one u-joint. The rutheniums are gonna be a bitch to get out though. They have nothing to grab onto and will take some creativity. I used a little claw for my clapped out iridiums which were WAY overdue.

 

If i had 5x beers and then got pumped up to RnR the plugs......

......i would probably struggle with 5x of them and Murphy would knock on the 6th plug and I would end up cross-threading them or dropping something down the plug well.

And then I would want to fight my truck because its making a fool of me.

Small extendable magnet with a flex at the end. Picked up one from auto zone. It works good.

 

What size pulley are you using.
