Oh man, that's a sweet deal, if you're driving 1200km I suppose you're from Vancouver area eh? Same here, but when I asked them they only offer around 2k off, might as well send them another email tomorrow.

Weird, I just looked again, 4.5% is lowest I see. And, for whatever reason, today my plan B color is not an option anymore either. (Windchill Pearl). Black would be Plan C, it's great color just such a pain for maintenance and keeping clean.

The 2020+ also addressed some of the biggest complaints. Automatic transmission recalibrate, Apple Carplay/Android Auto, and electric drivers seat.

Absolutely, for me the gains outweighed the issue so I got a 2020.

Where the hell are you looking? Maybe they're not offering 1.99 to Alberta residents. Weird.
Im from the Island, thinking I may of gotten a better deal since it was at the end of the month. They were a bit pushy to get me to sign the papers before Wednesday lol

    Mostly dust and dirt.
If they addressed the transmission issues I can’t imagine how bad it was before.

Maybe I'm a pessimist, but I think the economy is going to weaken enough to where you are going to find allot of high end trucks and I mean $45 to 75k trucks that were fully financed in the used market.

Making a $800+ payment won't be possible for some folks.

I've had such bad experiences trying to buy a Toyota in 2020 that tomorrow i'm going to look at Jeep Gladiators. Very disappointed in the Toyota dealers

I’m picking up a sport from them this Friday, 2.3k off msrp and they ducked up my order twice so hopefully I can guilt trip them into asking LEDS if this third try is a success

I was at ram dealerships for the last two weeks, they aren’t budging either, 2-7k off msrp with a 3k rebate is the best you’ll find

Its better than the toyotas here. If jeep can't give a reasonable deal then I will keep my old pathfinder and wait until used car prices come back to normal. The Toyota dealers want msrp and i tell them "i dont need to buy now. We can put an order for a March 2021 arrival its ok with me" and they still aren't budging. Only lies lies lies and lies from them.

The issue is that new vehicle inventory is low everywhere. Why do you think trade-in values are so high? Getting out with MSRP isn't bad, paying for a markup is. I almost took a deal for a 2020 taco for $53k with 0 accessories. Then I found one for MSRP, 12 port-added accessories, tint, and nitrogen tires for less than what I almost pulled the trigger on. You are right, if you appear desperate then the dealerships will pull you around, so wait if you need to. You getting a deal of 4% off isn't bad, especially in these times. But ultimately it is your decision after all.

It's not just the price. My local Toyota dealers are not professional. The same happened in 2016 when I wanted to buy a new Avalon, the salesman was a d*** so I ended up buying a Hyundai Azera. I just got back from Jeep and I test drove the Gladiator Overland. I explained my situation to the salesman and he recognized that i'm very familiar with cars, financing, and dealers. So he didn't give me the line of bull**** that toyota dealers like to give. I really like that Overland, but its $6k more than the TRD OR premium. $6k that I could spend in something else..

I hear you. The closest dealerships around me are the same way. I drove 2+ hours to get my 2020, to a dealership I had never been to before. I arrived near closing, maybe that helped? Maybe everyone wanted to go home and said "Screw the BS, if we're here let's try to make a sale." Who knows, I'm not a salesman. Not saying you should give your local dealers another shot, but I don't see why it's Toyota's fault.

I agree.....anyone who can wait should. Prices will take a dive when demand drops off due to high unemployment and all the late model ones get repoed.

I just wanted to update because I was complaining about Toyota dealers. I found a dealership with the truck that I was looking for! I almost gave up on Toyota and I was lucky to find this dealer because they were fair with me. They gave me 6% off msrp, $1000 rebate, $5000 on my 2010 pathfinder, and they beat my credit union rate at 2.94% for 72 months. I think it's really good for the current market.

Just starting out, give me time
Always bargain with them with what the credit union (not banks) will give you for prices on the vehicle you choose. Once they hear you've got the loan officers prices they drop price and you will get your lowest deal your going to get.
