    Fuck wiring.

Got the 4WD (using the 4Runners Center Diff Lock indicator for this) and 4LO dash indicators wired up. What a pain in the ass. I should have extended the wires off the tcase switches before putting it under the truck. But it's done now, used weatherpac style connectors too.

Had to do the tcase weatherpac connector twice because one of the wires broke after the install.

Post 116 has the wires for the indicator lights - https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...er-limited-4wd-v8.651589/page-6#post-23847791

New tires on today. Toyo Open Country A/T III in 285/70x17. 5 tires so I have a spare.

Not a huge difference is height, but it counts!

About the same width. The side by side it looks wider but here they look pretty close.

Spare tire lives here for a while, until I can build a new bumper with tire carrier. 285/70 just doesn't fit the stock location. Hits the frame al the back where the tow hitch is and hits the frame and tracbar going forward.

Alignment done today. Really surprised, they didn't have to make any adjustments. No idea when the alignment was done prior, this is the first one I've had done since I bought it. After swapping out all the suspension stuff from the collapsed XREAS and the rear links, I figured it would have been off a little.

Yeah, front suspension is essentially stock still.

I had minor rubbing at full lock on the front of the wheel well, just on the plastic fender liner. So I cut that shit off.

Just installed 3 of these guys into the washer hose system. I was having problems with no fluid being in the hoses if I didn't use them for a while. So it was draining back into the reservoir or maybe the pump is going bad. But, I'll see if these check valves help any, especially with the rear window washer.

Burned in the passenger side Heavy Duty LCA frame braces from Marlin. Got the kit back in February when they were on sale. Finally installing them.

    https://www.marlincrawler.com/axles/front-axle-armor/hd-lca-frame-brace-2003-2009-4runner

These also add protection to the alignment cam tabs. They can be installed with the suspension in place, it just makes it a little trickier unless you have a lift. Which I don't.

Driver side gets done tomorrow, so that is the before pic.

Welding the front brace in on the passenger side.

    And finished.

I also did an oil and filter change today before starting on this little project.

They are on pre-order status now, so hopefully they have them soon.
