I get about 85% second gear and up, which is great. First gear starts at about 40% and ramps up to about 70% at 6,000 rpm with the pedal floored the whole time. I might be wrong, I thought these numbers were throttle degrees, not percentages. Not that it matters, either way I know what you are referring to. :)

IIRC the example file was for 04B04, so all of us with a different file are unable to see the example. I'd love to see it for 04B80, but that request has gone unanswered.

I dunno that there is a lot of 04b80s on here making changes (at least not that I’ve seen)

With additional credits, you can unlock the 04b04 file. Or someone with 04b04 can post details from the file

I might be the only one playing with 04B80 currently. I could stock up on credits and unlock 04b04, but I don't have intentions of tuning others at this point.

I am not involved with vF Tuner. What about this?

@OVTune posted this a while back.
"here is our single Throttle angle limit (base) table. No more throttle angle lim by gears"

I wonder if Toyota did this on purpose to prevent damage from torque. Right now with 4.88’s 1st gear is “launch mode” not full throttle in 1st. I imagine that is quite intense with stock gears. Just curious why it is that way stock...?

Here's my acceleration throttle request to airload setup and my individual gears setup. I can be light on the pedal all the time around town or on the highway which i love and keeping those first several cells at 0 keeps things smooth when I first get on the throttle.

Definitely. No logging here, but things are better.

Except that it was shown the 04B04 and 04B14 starting values were an exact match.

MT Air Load Control changes were goodness for me after a bit of learning.

Interesting, I have not seen anything like that in vF Tuner.

I’m going to give something like that top table a try and see how I like it. Looks too smooth not to try. Did you input those manually or cntr-I the map?

Try it out, my logging shows that the pedal to throttle is pretty close to 1:1. For reference, stock gives you about 10% throttle at 20% pedal. Now at 15% pedal it opens the throttle 15%, at 40% pedal its showing 40.7% throttle lol. It's for the most part withing a percent or two.

You may also have to modify the per gear tables to achieve this.. I did both and I'm too afraid of changing one or the other now it drives so nice.

EDIT: I did them all manually using control+F on each column.

Yeah I feel like that’s these trucks felt so slow is because you weren’t getting all it had. And yeah I was going to base my per gear maps off yours. Also did you use a percentage to get the values to put in each column?

My 2010 Tacoma would emberrase me if I gave it a little too much throttle leaving when the signal turned green, when in a hurry. It would spin and screech the tires with light throttle take offs. It didn't happen if I drove normal, but when I was in a hurry it took discipline to not have a screeching take off. If I floored it from a take off it would do pretty long burnout. Not part of my daily routine.

My 2018 is the same as my 2010 as far as being TRD SPORT DCLB V6 2WD A/T. It won't even spin the tires in the rain. Not that I want to go around doing that. It is just that weak on take off.
