I’d be interested to see what you come up with. On A61 as well.

did you modify the acceleration shift tables?
I'm assuming you mean won't shift from 4th to 5/6th right?
Because during acceleration, 5th/6th is locked out

So far on the initial drive it drives really good! Not too sensitive throttle wise but not dead either. Nice smooth acceleration and power! I say give it a try! Going to run it a while to see how it settles! Good job @ForceOfG

What I would like more than anything else is a glossary of what I'm looking at. What is the scale and input output data for the maps.

For example I began looking at Acceleration-Primary throttle torque target Engine Speed IN (RPM) / Accelerator IN (I think % of range ?) = Torque Percent IN (percentage of torque requested from the engine ?). So then that goes to Acceleration-Primary torque target gear X as a check that my throttle angle and engine speed are an accepted torque percentage. If it checks out it goes to:
    Accelerator- Throttle request to airLoad
Which is Requested Torque (nM ? SCALE 150-725) / VehicleSpeed Raw (unknown SCALE 2048-14336) = AirLoad Cap (Kg/Min ? OR % throttle plate opening OR arbitrary internal number SCALE 0-89)
AND OR also checked by Accelerator -Request to air load
Which is Requested torque (nM? SCALE 0-500) / Engine Speed (RPM SCALE 300-6400) = Airload Cap (Kg/Min ? OR % SCALE 0-252.50)

Which is checked by the AirLoad control, The air Models, the cylinder fill, fuel delivery, spark timing, exhaust gas temperature Etc. to determine an air mass that is needed through the intake to create the requested torque.

If we know the table scale and definition we can correlate how they interact and if they are a generation or a check/balance.
Both of the tables above are calculations of AirLoad Capacity but the scale of one is 0-89 and the other is 0-252.50. If I know what AirLoad Capacity is in terms of it's definition to the ECU then I can compare it across multiple tables and see how it interacts. If it is just an internal ECU # or a voltage that's fine you can compare it in the same manner as the ECU.

Also AirLoad Control-Engine Mapped Expectation Airload is an invalid map ?

An easy example is: Direct Injection -High Temp OFF Flag is set to ECT 143.04. Is that a temp ? 143.04*F or 143.04*C (289.47*F) WHILE the Direct Injection -Low Temp OFF flag is ECT 639.37. Is that a temp ? So when the engine gets colder than 639.37*F or 639.37*C(1182.87*F) the direct injection will turn off.

    Thank You.

Correct, shifting from 4th to 5th.
I looked at acceleration shifting. But as you mentioned 4 to 5 is disabled. Do i copy 3 to 4 values and bump by 10%?

Or copy 4 to 5 tables from primary / ECT or whichever you modded

Question, which parameters do you compare? My maps somewhat close to yours, but I rarely see that close.
I look at throttle position %, accelerator % and throttle°.
    Do I miss something?.
    Thanks.

Right. I used this on one of the 2.0 versions that came out. How are you doing it in the newest VFT

I modified it at one point but basically reverted back to stock until I understand those tables a bit more.
Nope that looks similar to mine stock. Sorry not at the PC right now but the way the table should be interpreted is that the extremely high S2 values means you will not achieve the slip lock past 16% pedal essentially because you need to be going about like 230 MPH to do so. This is is why you may not feel the lugging when you give it more pedal. The higher the numbers the less likely it is to slip lock.

I posted a log earlier here that shows which ones:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/vf-tuner-for-the-3-5l-tacoma.662948/page-301#post-24315137

Did you also modify the individual throttle limit tables by gear? I modified all of those to get a very linear throttle.

Anybody know how to share a tune file on here? I keep getting an Extension error when I try to post it.

I put your new numbers in a file last night and just took it for a 10 min spin and I do like it quite a bit better. Still feels like beyond half throttle is being limited by something but I gotta get a little more driving time. Only got one full throttle pull in 3rd gear so it's not a thorough test yet. The throttle feels very natural and much more connected now. Great developments on the tuning so far and thank you for sharing your findings with us.

Im going to sound like a d*mbass here but is there any way to keep the current 2.0 tune I have going and just modify the alternator settings? I have the vF tuner but havent even used it yet since I had the original set up going
