I've had my 09 Tacoma Off Road for almost two years now and I think it's time to make a few changes... I know there are a couple guys/ girls that have been around the tacoma scene for a while and have some advice to share so i'm here to see what you got. I'd like to try and keep from breakin the bank. Thanks yall.

Ok so clearly I haven't been on here in a while... The things I'm trying to accomplish would be a two and a half to three inch lift, bigger tires, and front and rear bumpers. I know it's not going to be cheap but if anyone has any advice on what vendors to go with and where I can get the most bang for my buck it would be appreciated. And since this site is so full of Tacoma lovers maybe you have some of this stuff laying around and want to get rid of it...

So whats the deal with the head unit?? I know Tacomas weren't built with amazing quality sound systems. Is there something else lurking around the corner that i just haven't stumbled upon yet?

Mine sounded like shit, the speakers are the worst built I ever seen. I just like a good quality sound system. Everything I have is digital, so I opted for a Media player. They are really easy to replace, just use the DIY sections.

Well if you want to lift it make sure you do your research on what you want. You said about 3 inches of lift. Do you research well, search the site and see what is the best lift.

Members on here will tell you no body lifts...which is absolutely true. Just make sure you do it right the first time, and get exactly what you want cause if you don't you'll just want to change it later down the road.

I experienced this problem with a subwoofer that I bout. Went with an off brand bass tube and it was awful, wasted some money then had to spend more to do it right. Just my two cents. Doing it right and spending a little extra to get exactly what you want will help you wallet in the long run....
