lmao, the first sentence on that build thread:

    "2012 4x4 4.0L V6, it is mostly stock."

Did you read the other one? It started as trying to fix a flat tire and ended up with a full build

That's it...I'm sold. Gonna save my pennies and nickels until it's time to link. I'll skip the LT SUA setups and just go straight to the holy land. My current +2 and TC SUA rear w/ 2.5x16" bypasses (overkill yes, but got a dope deal) will keep a smile on my face in the meantime. I love you all, but my wallet hates you all

You all realize a Raptor or stock SUV is waiting at the end of your path...

How much travel can you pull from a leaf spring kit?

    On websites: 18-20

On a properly set up leaf sprung setup: 16-18

Beyond that there's less evidence as the proposed travel goes higher.

You can do it with both, but you'll have to dirty smog your truck or move the stock emissions equipment.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/bedcage-thread.263850/

Look at a bunch of builds on instagram for ideas too.

I'll plug myself and this is an idea I came up with for a bolt in cage on 1st gens.

    Fits 2 35's and a jack:

Race support Elantra and tow pig. Then the wife’s mid travel 4Runner for more family friendly adventures and needs.
You can get the same amount of bed space out of both. All depends on the bed cage design.
