Yes look at posts from @dirt addiction - he's the duhtchhman on insta. You could use the basic layout of your links plus the mounting system I made to reuse the actual bed mounts.

 

gotta do something with your fuel tank to get it out of the way. I kept half my bed with mine.

 

whatchu talkin' bout Willis ? I've pulling 20" with a short bed and only using 12" CO's, you can easily get big #'s with a short bed

check out my build thread if you want to see dcsb with a 3 link & no bed penetration, 12” CO’s pulls 20”...which is about 14” more than i’m used to pulling so i’m happy

 

yes just put your gas tank behind the axle where your oe spare goes

Will get you there. Not as much room for a 4 link with keeping the frame in 1st gens unfortunately, but if you do it right you could make it work potentially.

Dude thats amazing! I almost feel like giving up already & i havent even put the LT kit on yet but seeing these pics makes me dream & feel its possible

 

I've heard the debates. Not the direction I want to go. I'm not interested in making my truck bomb the desert. I don't need to optimize wheel travel to get what I want. If that were my goal, I'd buy a UTV and leave the truck alone.

The +2" kit would allow me to get the ride quality I want and still enjoy everything I do now. I'm looking for more of a Baja cruiser than a wanna-be race truck. Something that does it all okay.

 

You're in the wrong sport. Take up golf or something that gives more instant gratification.

If you're already having doubts or being impatient you're not going to complete this build unless you've got DEEP pockets. Just sayin.

I had a 90 4runner that I converted to leafs because it was stupid simple and required little maintenance. Now that I have my 18" rear travel leaf sprung Tacoma there is no way I'm cutting that out and putting links in it.

Yeah you're going to have down time with anything other than easy bolt on stuff so having anything that requires work (almost everything for an LT rig - especially with your kit) is not smooth 1 day install stuff.

 

Im a fake race truck cause i want a kit 1.5" larger. Thats mean bro. I feel like thats still a baja cruiser

 

Yeah without a cage we're all cruisers. With a cage we're prerunners at best.
