It costs money have mod our trucks. (A good bit to do it right...) I was looking around TW at everyone's trucks and said to myself, "Self, I wonder what all these fella's do for a living?" I was going to start a poll, but that would end up with 2,354 options, so I thought I would just let y'all chime in. I am just curious and thought it would make for interesting reading. If there is already one of these from 3 years ago, don't tell me 200 times, just slap me and call me an idiot for bringing up an old thread once and I'll get the point. *Side note, if you sling dope, sell your body, give wood for woodchucks to chuck, or do funny things to animals that may be illegal in 47 states....you might want to keep that to yourself, as big bro may be watching.* Personally, I'm in the militar. My MOS is 11B Infantry, but my day to day grind is Retention. I fall under Recruiting.....and it sucks @SS, but pays the bills and I get to blow stuff up when I have a bad day at work, so it evens out.

    :infantry:Sound Off!!

FML, and here I was thinking I was being all creative. But that is from 4 years ago, so I think I deserve a mulligan or something. Good use of the search tool though bud, I will slap my self for lack of searching. I'm still going to leave the post up in hopes to start a new one, unless the general consensus is that I remain to be a non-search using slacker and this should be deleted. :)

These lifts kits and fancy mud tires and blinged out wheels that y'all got are too much coin for me to afford while going thru this divorce!
I just hang around here to dream of the truck I could have if I had the scratch.

I get to play with guns for a living. It's pretty great.

And to Taco Beater, being able to afford something is relative. Affording a Tacoma while living in your mom's house is a lot different than affording a tacoma while keeping a mortgage, multiple vehicles, school bills, a solid 401K, an investment portfolio, a kid's college fund, an expensive gun habit, a sub-15% DTI rating, a 750+ credit score, etc. Not saying A is you or B is me, but you get the point.

Not at the moment. :D I'm jealous of you northerners in a way, I have to jump through a bunch of hoops and pay a stiff tax to build my 11.5" AR-15s. Of course, I get to slap 30-round mags in when I go to the range...
