So, got my first dent on my 2010. Dent in the chrome rear bumper. Not too bad, but I'm drawn to looking at it every time I get in my truck. Here are my options:

    1-live with the dent
2-replace with a new chrome bumper (a lot of $$$)
3-strip the chrome, fix the dent, and color match it

I have an off-road, and can't find any picks of trucks with a chrome grill and color matched bumper (in BSP). I like the chrome, and had never thought of painting the bumper, but now the situation has presented itself. Will color matched bumper look OK with chrome grill? Let me know what you think!

well the grille is on the front, the rear bumper is on the back, if your not seeing them at the same time, which you never will, then it should be fine. plus, chrome is the devil...

I would either leave it or get a new offroad bumper like the one below. Knowing me, if i fixed the dent, I would get another one the next day haha. The cost for this All-pro bumper is about $600

Did I just get busted by a Canadian??

Anyway, not really interested in an aftermarket bumper. Would really like to see some pics off an off-road BSP with a color matched bumper......... I'm leaning that way, and worst case scenario, I don't like it, I'll sell it, and just get another chrome one.

Yea, I saw that. It's not a bad idea, but I'm gonna see how much my shop will charge me to strip my chrome one, fix the dent, and color match. Even if I picked up the primered new bumper, I'd want it painted.......

I did see one other post with someone mentioning the same thing (strip chrome, fix dents, paint). Just depends on how much a shop will charge to strip the chrome and fix the dent....
