    By not opening the throttle in a linear fashion, it is holding it back a little.

    White, debadged, Mudflaps removed, ICON 2.5 in front, 2.0 in rear, all 4 corners have reservoirs, Spidertrax wheel spacers all around, BAMF bolt on sliders, Avid lightbar, oem transmission cooler converted to power steering cooler, aftermarket transmission cooler eliminating all oem transmission cooler stuff, remote mounted spin on transmission fluid filter TrueTrac rear differential, rear diff housing vented and filtered into left side bed box, URD MAF calibrator, Volant intake scoop into oem airbox, second filter removed, airbox internals smoothed, blended and polished throttle body, NST intake manifold spacer, Wet Okolee set covers, WeatherTech Digital Fit mats, inexpensive JVC single DIN, Scangage, AVS Stepshield door sill protectors, Doug Thorley Long Tube Headers, URD Y pipe with O2 sims.
    Just got back from doing volunteer work serving bbq lunch at the VA.

    Torspd, you got my attention, message me what or how to alter the throttle by wire mapping please. From day one, this has been a defined flat spot whether stock or modded.

    I have no desire to mod my truck for performance, but to keep the thread going do they not make performance cams, intakes, or heads for these engines? Port your stock heads or intake? Too much computer stuff getting in the way? I don't know... this was all 'go-to' stuff to do for my mustang.

    For them... for you and me that's a different story! The 4.7 V8 would be much easier because it mates to the existing auto transmission and fits into the engine bay without modifying anything

    Torspd, from the previous posts, graph and info, couple questions.

    Based on you mentioning now running a straight line linear throttle movement, are you running the Sprint unit sold by URD? It seems you are, so then to clarify, once programed, there is no need to reprogram on each time you start the engine.

    Now the tricky question...if I add the Sprint unit, does this alter the curve on the AFR settings and how the truck runs? In simple terms, will this require a new map in the URD MAF controller. I would suspect yes, but may not if the computer is reading throttle plate angle vs all other parameters.

    Negative, I do not have the Sprint Booster. There are other members on the forum who are, as I have come across them talking about it in threads. As well as on XRU.

    I am using a Haltech Elite 2500, and that is one of its capabilities. Throttle control.

    Modifying the throttle position curve will not mean you need a new map for the MAF controller.
    Since it is load versus rpm based. The engine will just get to those same load/rpm cells more quickly.

    K&n cold air, magnaflow cat back with super 44s, NGK laser plugs, bulky dog tuner: kinda sucks but nice for info
    I would still like to see cam upgrades from aftermarket companies then mild turbo my truck can murder some some small cars now 4x4 with 33s imagine the difference

    Is there a difference in which is more reliable, or which is better the urd charger vs the Magnuson unit? Does the Magnuson have a better air pathway for the intake than the factory( since there's no aftermarket unit).

    I had mine dyno'd and have the charts to prove. 256whp/318tq. That's with long tube headers, full custom straight dual pipe 2.5" with magnaflow h-pipe and 2 performance mufflers, and K&N cold air intake.
