I like presta for being small diameter, but I don't know if this type would play nice with them?

Next up might need to be a viair 400p automatic. Then I can put my 88p in the wife's car. I need to do some more research.

I think I'll pay the $100 tax on the 400p auto ready made option. My hoses and fittings were delivered in multiple small shipments over the last few days. Every time..."what are you getting now? More air fittings?".

Packages never get delivered when she's in a teams meeting with students or on a run. Always when I'm on a meeting... and they get intercepted.

Teaching kindergartners numbers and letters over a computer is interesting to overhear. She works with small groups that need extra help. My favorite quote so far is "Jimmy, don't stand on the table you might get hurt!"

Yea... it gets annoying checking in 5 cars at the end of the day and having to go to all 4 wheels on each one and letting out air till their at 35... this could really speed it up.

Getting closer. I have a love/hate relationship with the clamptite. It took me four attempts to get these two to look how I wanted.

 

I’m not sure if you are a perfectionist, my clamps are sloppy or I’m just a pro..

I redid my first clamp after i did the other two. I could have left it but tightened it up a bit. It was pretty quick and easy i thought.

 

That .041 stainless wire is a little stiff. On all the videos they pull the wire smoothly through like it's rope.

I'll probably redo these again at least once. I don't like where they are on the barb.

 

They look great to me.

The vid does look like magic.

As you start to tension the clamp, you can then position the wire where you would like them. I am often repositioning them to nestle in the barbs.

 

Thanks, they're aight. My favorite thing about that tool is being able to make any size clamp as needed. Even if it isn't parallel and perfect aesthetically, it will do the job. Heck, you could even bundle firewood with it or splint a broken tent pole. It's like zip ties on steroids.

Yes. As long as there is enough take-up, there are a ton of possibilities. I bring these along and my safety wire pliers.
