    Im getting there......
    Hey I have been noticing alot of lowered dually trucks (Dodge 3500s, Ford F350s, etc.) around especially ones i see towing campers and larger fifth wheel trailers......is this just a fad or does it have some mechanical (for lack of a better term) advantage over a stock height truck for towing???

    Ok.....My Dad actually LIFTED the 5th wheel he tows so it would hitch up level with his 4x4 1 ton. I know a couple guys that lowered their tow rigs for the same reason. However, I think moany do it for the same reason people raise/lower any other vehicle. Its what they like the looks of.

    I kind of like the looks of lowered dually's. Maybe better handling when towing less wind resistance I'm not really sure....

    i really like the way the rear wheels look, kind of tucked up into those huge wheel wells nice and clean. I imagine if you put some "load-stabilizing" bags or what not on the truck (you know, ones that keep your suspension level when you're towing) they would still tow almost as good as being stock.

    To be honest, I think a dually would be the ONLY kind of truck i would lower.
