new C4 rear installed. However I have no clue where to put the backup camera now. It used to just be in the factory hitch. I have it above the license plate but it interferes with the tailgate.

It's awesome. I bought it used from a member in excellent condition. Yes the awning is attached but there's only one faulty thing about it, the pole for the opening is way too long. It will eventually splinter and break because of the pressure. There are several customers who had the same issue. I had to buy a smaller pole from the manufacturer and works great now. Your wife may like it, you may or may not need a step stool to climb in the tent. But much easier than a RTT. Once your in, there is a serious amount of comfortable space. We love it and would recommend it.

It really comes down to your personal preference and abilities. I personally don't like being on the ground. I like the option of being up off the ground. The setup is really no different from a ground tent in my opinion. It's super easy and strapping it to the dirty fender flares doesn't bother me one bit. The tent is for outdoor use. As for carrying my gear in the bed of my truck, again it doesn't bother me. It's a truck. I load it up, throw a tarp and a net over it and head out.

    20201110_155153.jpg

I prefer to use my truck for camping rather than camp next to it. The setup it super comfortable and makes the lady happy. I would love to have a canopy or RTT but it's not financially doable at the moment. Making do with what I got.

    20201111_121755.jpg

    That's my opinion :)

Rock Auto is always my go to first. Densos & Bosch ranging from $50-120. Just gotta get an O2 sensor wrench too which you can get from any auto parts store for like $15.

Also, haven’t replaced one of this truck but on other cars I have replaced them on it is super easy. Buy some PB Blaster while you’re at it. Hit it, let it soak, hit it again, drink a beer, the. Remove.

Thank you I have been looking and found a couple different kinds one is just an o ring and the other is a full gasket I would expect it to look like, so I am having a hard time with which it should be.

She didn't want to be on the ground so we didn't sleep on the ground. Not a hard problem to solve. No real sweat off my back.

I wish there was a way to save an individual post. This is super informative and a great photo, too. I will do this, but not til the spring. By then there will be 400 more pages to this thread and I'll never find it again. Nice work.

Just take a screenshot. You won’t be able to click on the links, but at least you’ll have the info saved.

I've had mine for a little over 4 years and only now is it feeling a little mushy when opening the tailgate. Still think its worth the buy IMO

Thanks, that’s good to know. I like taking screenshots in case posts or threads are deleted, or in case PB holds pics hostage. They (PB) ruined many a good thread.
