these particular adjustments don't affect your normal drive. I'm trying to milk all available power in 5th gear under heavy load/high speed and smooth out downshift/upshift in these conditions.

Regular please. Running 89 octane now on one of your versions and it's fine with me.

I got like 8 misfires spread out pretty evenly over two logs/trips totaling about 30 minutes. I wasn't logging misfires before; so, I don't know if that is any different. I suspect not; because, most of those seemed to be in the regions I did NOT change. Plugs are nearly due.

The Colorado V6 also has dual VVT that I suspect would qualify for 'atkinson'... don't know the numbers; but, it claims to vary compression ratio (or something to that effect). It also has cylinder deactivation, an 8 speed AT, and is more aerodynamic. (AFAIK, the atkinson term is only used by Toyota... I know Mazda skyactiv does the same thing... I suspect it's a pretty wide spread feature.)

As I said, my expanded 'atkinson' didn't feel any different to me.

    NEW TUNE:
For anyone that liked how the new 2.0 tunes shifted, but want more out of your throttle, give this a go. It's 04B04_Reg_Stock_Thx_33 but with all the power and throttle add ons that can be found on the MD.87 Mild and Wild 3.1. Tip in is sporty, but manageable. All shift points and TC values are the same as OV intended, but I eliminated 6th gear in ETC Pwr. Who tows in "double overdrive" anyways?
I'm guessing this will get better mileage than 3.1 as there's less revving between shifts?? (Theory)
I have NOT run this file so let me know if it's awesome, or if it was a waste of time. Thanks.

So you can add to your page if you'd like. Not sure if it's going to be a popular option... but I figured meh, might as well try it.

Has anyone tried, or willing to try, plugging 3rd gear tc lock / unlock 5-6 map values, into maps 1-4 and see how that feels? Put half lock at 255.999 and plug the 5-6 values into 1-4. Looks like it might have potential? Today is a sh*tty day for testing in the Northwoods...TC 3rd gear.jpg

After following the OG OVTune thread for years I finally made the purchase just now. My OEM battery is dying and i'm leaning towards AGM so the ability to change alternator voltage was convincing. Super excited to get going with this. I know from reading so long Matt's a small company and should expect a wait- anyone know roughly how long this process usually takes? I am gonna try and ride out this battery for as long as possible but it dropped to 6V the other night

You will need a full battery to flash your tunes!

I would say normally, just a business day or two. You do have to send information back and forth so he can get you registered.
That being said, you are probably going to need to get a new battery to even start flashing... there are safety features that won't let you flash on low voltage... to protect your truck.

That's basically what I'm running except stock tire size and no thx.
On another note, I just tuned a buddies truck using the premium super fob as a base. I noticed the ACIS was set at 3250. I forgot, but I was going to try 3300 a while back to see how it felt. Has anyone tried this on an auto yet?

Sweet thanks for looking out guys. Actually was planning on going to grab a Northstar today, then once I have everything to flash going to install it. A few days of running it without the correct alternator output probably wont hurt it but considering they are $$$ i'm gonna wait. Another question as I have read everything and am still semi confused- I bought the tune pack and licensing/cable pack- do I need anything else to be able to modify the alternator voltage (i.e. the tune credits that are $75)? Or are there already tunes that have that included in the tune pack?

The alternator voltage is nice to have but not required. I ran mine for over a year before we were able to boost it with vF. I’d get one now before you end up with a totally dead battery and stranded somewhere..

It should be fine. You may need to add a charger to it if it takes a while for your to get your tune kit. Just to keep it fully charged maybe once a week.

You will need to reach out via e-mail to the ovtune zendesk to request the tunepack files that you ordered.
When you pick the tune you want/need to use, export it and rename to make edits.
Check out this thread on agm changes to make.
