Hey folks, been a lurker for quiet some time, and haven't posted a whole lot. BUT, I am determined to make some mods to my 2017 Taco TRD Sport. Since we're quickly approaching the colder season up in the PNW, I was thinking about installing some seat warmers in my rig. I found these on Amazon, and they looked perfect. I read in the FAQ that someone had installed it in their gen 5 4Runner, but when I put my vehicle info in the Amazon search, it says it won't fit my truck. Do the gen 5 4Runners have the same electrical/hardware as the gen 3 Tacos? Will these work?

Tl;Dr: Gen 3 Taco. Do these fit?

    Thank you for reading/replying.

The problem is the the switch is not compatible with your dash there are other kits that are compatible.

Gotcha. If I got that 5 switch panel, do you know if it would fit in there? Thanks for the reply!

My wife has back issues sometimes and I was 2nd guessing not having heated seats available on road trips if it acts up. Not sure if it fits your needs, but my plan is 400W anytime AC mod in the cab then keep a regular 120v heating pad on the seat. I noticed most of her heating pads are only 130-200W power, and that pure resistive load shouldn't care about a modified sine wave inverter.
