    No. Still have them. They are sitting. I put them on my tent bed rack as extra backup light. But then found a oem bed cover. Can't even open it. I mounted them on top. But where the tent unfolds it won't be able to unfold because the drivers side pod is in the way. So I just pulled them for now

    Relentless Fab hybrid bumper, 2.5” Dobinsons IMS lift, RCI skids and sliders, block heater. Painted FJ Steelies. Was trying to keep it stock, now slowly building for the Wisconsin trails.
    The relay is used so that the high amperage needed by the light does not go through the switch. The wiring still needs to be fused for over current protection.

    So power to relay, split relay with power to fuse then to light and switch controls relay off/on?

    Essentially yes. The fuse goes upstream of the relay, with the power split between the contact side of the relay and the switch. Switch is wired to the coil side of the relay.

    OP, Im not sure what you mean by "everyone" has these now... and if I'm being honest the legit setup is probably nice for its intended use however I can't stand the douche's who are driving with them on the regular ole streets. Not usually a Taco...more of the Jeep Cherokee or a F150 with a dog box in the back....still looks stupid to drive with them on the city streets.
