There are a few community tunes that people have shared. The very first post has the shared tunes listed along with a quote from the person who shared it, so you can trace back to see if the person who shared it has a description to go along with the tune.

 

No. vF does not affect the ABS ECU at all.

The dash light flicks off pretty (too) quickly.

Are you guys able to get real-time AFR when data logging? The possibilities of vF tuner are great, I'd just want to be able to monitor what's happening to make sure my tune is performing safely.

 

Anybody with OBD Fusion and stock air intake do a WOT acceleration and see how many lb/min the MAF sensor reads at it's highest point?

Just curious for comparison against my KN intake.

 

So, do the acceleration shifting tables do anything in D? Has anyone done any testing to determine this for sure?

I have been modifying them to reduce my variables when dialing in my shifting, but I'm not sure they've had any effect. Now we learn they control shifting in 4 low.

 

Anyone experience idle surge and know how to fix it? For some reason my idle just started to surge. Very strange.

I'm running with the 4-5 acceleration upshift and downshift having "logical values" instead of 255.999 and it does NOTHING in Drive, SMode or ECT unless you're in 4 low. It does l now shift into 5th while in low 4.
HOWEVER, something is retarding either the speed or RPMs. I can actually go faster and rev higher in 4th than I can 5th. Around 4200 RPMs in 5th gear is all I can get. My global speed is set to 250, and fuel cut off 7k. I'm unsure why it's being held back in 5th.

So far I have both acceleration and acceleration 2 set the same. Haven't tested only one or the other.

I did a nice long cruise on the freeway at 70+mph in CC last night and averaged 20+mpg with M+W 3.1 with changes for 32’s, 4.88’s and AGM settings. The truck cruised so nice and was so smooth. When I want the power it is there. My truck weighs 5600lbs. Just wanted to send a “nice job” your way.

I need to figure out how to do some logging because past 80-85mph the truck seems a little different than usual. Wonder if it has something to do with air load settings...?

 

Ok so I finally downloaded vftuner and installed yesterday. Question I have is for the credits and what file to unlock. Reason I bring this up is I’ll never offer tuning for others, I’m just not interested. But my ecu Id is 04b31 and the new updated tsb takes it to 04b33. If I unlock 04b31 and then truck gets the tsb update will I have to purchase credits to unlock 04b33 also? Thanks.
