    Too many mods and I haven't even started yet..
    That kind of describes pickups in general these days.

    You're the last person I would expect to see this from.

    I agree with E rated tires.

    Don't have any of my own, can try and get some for you later tonight if you'd like, but this is the kit i bought

    certainly possible it was installed after purchase, since I got mine used. But from what i've found in my research, some came with all weather flooring, some didn't. luck of the draw

    May I ask why you regret snorkel and E rated tires? I have been considering E rated tires just for that 10 ply strength and peace of mind with more puncture resistance but am concerned about ride quality. Has your experience been that the E rated makes for a rough ride? Also wondering why you regret snorkel as I'm looking to add one way way down the road a few years from now when we live somewhere with actual rivers/creeks.

    :cookiemonster::stirthepot:

    Common misconception. The E rating refers to tread ply not sidewall so "puncture resistance" doesn't apply the same as most believe.. Our trucks don't weigh nearly enough, even the heaviest of us, to justify an E rated tire and you typically get horrible ride quality when they are used.

    Definitely better than a hydrolocked engine haha. I live in arizona so right now there's no need for it, but we're hoping to move to Colorado in the next few years where hopefully I can make use of it and install one at that time.

    There's also the idea that a snorkel moves the main source of air higher to keep the air cleaner, especially in dusty conditions. Not only used to keep water out of the engine.

    Nfab bar with steps thought I’d need it more with my bad back getting in and out of the truck. After getting the driver step crushed into the ground a time or two pretty sure they are coming off soon as I save the cash for some sliders.

    I can def attest this is the case. Air filter is much cleaner post-snorkel than pre-snorkel every time I blow it out.

    Def not a useless mod for those with caps, etc. I've seen some pretty bad bedside splits and bow-outs locally that the stiffeners would have helped at least.

    So, what have we learned so far? No one likes their raptor lights or NFab products.

    I like the fact that I can switch the grille lights ON when my camper is on the truck, since I'm required to do so because the vehicle then measures over 80" :evil: Otherwise, I don't typically use them. :notsure: Pic of camper here.

    I plan on switching them up to amber, and use 3 lights only

    I’m hoping so. I’ve wasted $$ on my share of useless mods. With the new Tacoma, I’d like to not do that, and am hoping bed stiffeners prove worthwhile.

    I’m a mechanic, I love cars, I’ve owned a bunch of modified stuff over the years and did my fair share of stupid too. I absolutely love the outdoors so I’m not knocking anything...but what in the hell is up with “overlanding”? It’s more like overloading, I can’t believe how outfitted these rigs are. Most of those rigs probably barely see 72 hours off the grid on their “overlanding” trips.

    My truck is stock for now and I plan on doing my own “stupid and regretful” mods but yeah... I’ll shut up now.
