With as many bicyclists in here I'm sure someone in here has a high pressure gauge. I have one for my mountain bike shocks that reads up to 300PSI you're welcome to borrow. The downside to mine is it's a manual attachment so you have to screw it onto the valve.

Edit: but hell you don't even need it anymore now that you've fixed the problem. Perhaps next time I should read through all the comments before posting!

And what did you get during that small window of capitalization, a nice buck perhaps?

It's great this time of year to be out in the woods with all the leaves down. We always have a mom and a couple cubs where I hunt, so it's always fun to see them come by the stand. I've taken one down so far, but passed up probably 6 because they look so small.....or is my vision just going to crap!
Also, I watched a coyote napping on the hill in front of me and it was by itself...very handsome and behaved like a pet would....I couldn't shoot it. It was peaceful and enjoying the sun.

Tim, I've used American Stripping Co. (ascoweb.com) quite a bit. A friend used to work there for years and the work has always been good. ASCO refurbishes multi-million dollar sculptures, and other delicate items of historic and national interest. Just an option. NV coatings I've always heard really good things about as well.

A decent size doe. Came in right about 100lbs field dressed.
Straight pass through, no deviation in trajectory. Cut the heart in half.

The coyotes have been very active the last couple weeks. Last time I got out hunting i had 1 cruise by me mid morning.

Hire someone whose sole purpose in life is to get out and install them while you sit in the heat and drink coffee. Hahaha. My only experience with them was working in WV on cell tower roads. They work great, but are a bitch to install. The tractor supply ones were anyway.

Yeah they all pretty much suck to install but Tractor Supply was a good set for my 2nd gen. Definitely find some dirt to install them a few times before you need them if you haven't before... First time I needed them took me damn near half an hour to install and get tightened up and it fucking sucks doing that when it's coming down.

One thing I'll add based on my readings and not personal experience (read: someone correct me if I'm wrong) is that you may have a hard time fitting them up front with oversized tires and your suspension components. Think about how much you rub now and then remove some of that clearance. You may have UCA clearance issues too, even driving on flat ground.

They are a pain to put on fire trucks!

Yeah; practice beforehand or make it easier on yourself and install a dually setup and then drive on the inner tire for the rear... oh wait thats on a firetruck again...

    How to put this....

Been a long time playing in the cold where they were needed. Both wire/bungee and actual chain styles have there place.

The wire cross pattern with the bungee cord are the easiest to put on and use. Chain style are more a pain in ass but do have a better bite. The thing to remember is, down force. When the snow is deep and you are dragging your skid plates, you are essentially lifting the vehicle off the ground and reducing down force on the tires. Which is what the chains need.

Both will help on ice. But either will act a little different in snow. Another reminder.. Keep wheel spin to a minimum using them. Outward force from wheel spin can wreak havoc on the body panels and what ever else is near and in the way. One old school way to help prevent this was, deflating the tire, install the chains and tighten, then re-air up. Not to sure if this is still done today. Like I said, been a few decades.

also, there are a few companies that make chains for larger than normal off road tires. Hell, I think you can even punch in your tire size for price and what’s out there.

Hope it helps. Good luck, Sir.

It's been awhile since I've used them.
But I remember they cost about $60 in 1998 dollar. Lay them behind the wheels, back onto them, wrap them over, and add tension. Bam done:thumbsup:
And don't try and go fast on hard surface!
