What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I added open cell foam to my vents. It decreased the road noise by several dBs according to my Sound Meter app.

Yo that’s a great idea, I figured the mat on the back of the plastic trim (but in front of the vents) would help but this looks like a much better solution, along with the dead mat.

 

yes, mid October is good... But yesterday... And that's was just half of amount (Calgary) 18 in in total in my area. Fun to drive!!!

You guys just made me think about the Rupp Roadster 2 mini bike that I rebuilt when I bought my house. When I say rebuilt, it was literally laying in pieces in the tool shed on the property when we bought the house. Not real sure why it was in pieces, but I was happy that it came with the house.
Had her running for a few years, then the float went bad, and it’s been sitting in the garage since. Gonna have to fix that and get her running again.

I know they are worth a bit of money, but I’m into antiques and such so I prefer to hang on to it. Plus the fact that dad was a state trooper, I was never allowed to ride them growing up, So just knowing I have one now, makes up for it somehow.

Got my LRA fuel tank in from Long Range America and dropped it off for some Line-X! Really looking forward to getting this thing in.

 

How did your install go? I've heard of other brands not having very good bolt hole alignment.
