I have the excursion 3 man... It is a very nice tent but I will say, I have a bitch of a time setting it up. It is supposed to be really easy to set up, but I must be retarded. Very durable material

I would recommend it to anyone. It is actually really easy to set up to, I just decide to go full retard when I get out on the ice for some reason.

The bench seat is okay. You shouldn't have any problems with your backside screaming at you when you are sitting out there. My dad did make some nice and fat seats that are replacements for the bench for us though. That was apparently for his sake mostly, because I didnt think they were needed.

All in all, I really like mine. If I were to do it again, I may get the team wild one though. It has a nicer bench and the sled seems to be better built than the Frabill's. I also believe it is cheaper. You are paying for a name with the Frabill. They are essentially the same shack as far as I am concerned.

There have been people ice fishing the shorelines of a large lake pretty close to me. I know of people still fishing open water though as of about a week ago. I need about a good 6 inches before you'll see me out on the ice. I might give her a go in a week or 2 here

Ice fishing FTMFW!!! Nothing like a 10" hole, in 6" ice, in a tent, in 8' deep water, able to see EVERYTHING.
