Well I already was in love with Milwaukee tools but now more so. this whole load was cut with the Milwaukee saw and the big 12.0 battery. Still had one bar left but I think it was probably fairly close to dying. then the icing on the cake is I cleaned out the truck bed with the Milwaukee leaf blower.

Very impressive. Might be worth bringing that along on off road adventures.

Definitely worth it. It will be coming camping and on any long trips I take.

Also I took one for the team today. If anyone is curious, the Milwaukee chainsaw will not fit in a Husqvarna power box.

I have a mix and match if dewalt and Milwaukee and slowly swapping all to Milwaukee. You can score deals on eBay and around holidays all the time. Hone depot randomly will have some killer deals. Get the “stubby” 3/8 impact if you haven’t. That little guy is bad ass

    OfferUp is my go to.
And I have the 3/8. Using the adapter was a pain so bought a 1/2. I’m thinking of selling the 3/8 because my impact sockets are 1/2.

New M12 1.6 Gallon Wet/Dry Vac with the 6.0XC battery. Waiting on a pack (3) of bags from Milwaukee. Added a Shop-Vac brand brush.

Youll have to let us know how it does and how the battery life is.

My dad started using Milwaukee tools a few years back so Ive been picking up a few here and there. Overall Im pretty impressed. My only gripe is the fwd/rev switch on any of the pistol grip style tools (drills, impacts, drivers etc) is not designed well. Maybe its just my hands, but I have a hell of a time fully engaging the fwd position. Rev is no issue with your thumb, but its like the selector is recessed too far and makes it pretty hard to fully engage the fwd setting.

Also the M12 battery tabs can be a real big PIA to release.

I picked up the M18 Fuel 1/4" hex driver on sale at HD a month or two ago. It came in the new waterproof Packout case. Really cool. I will be looking into getting some more of those with the cut-to-fit foam for my other tools

Will do! I'm in the process of transitioning to all Milwaukee. Agree on the M12 tabs. Seems like some pop off easy and others are more challenging.

For what its worth if you're ever in Wiscasset, the True Value there has an outstanding selection of Milwaukee. Better than most big box stores Ive seen

Agree. Maine Hardware in Portland has a huge selection. But I don't see them running the same promotions as HD.

The m12 tools are great!! Once you get the batteries and charger you can find some good deals on ebay-Amazon for bare tools.

Some of the same promotions available at Home Depot are available online at Milwaukee's web site:

I picked up the M18 Fuel vacuum a few months ago and is now one of my favorite tools, it literally has compleatly replaced the dust pan at my house, it goes camping to clean the sand and dirt out of the tent, you can reverse it to use as a blower to get the fire going, and don't have to roll out the cord and big vacuum to do a quick once over on the truck. Can't speak to the M12 version, but the M18 battery life is great with a XC8.0

I've heard battery life/run time is comparable.

So I might change it up in the future but for right now this is how I'm hauling the saw and everything needed with the saw. Plano sportsman's trunk.
