4 those with Duratrac & Revo 2

Hello all-
After reading through the forum, I am down to selecting either Revo 2 or DuraTrac tires to replace my stocks. For those of you that have either I have some questions:

1- Tread life?
2- Road noise?
3- Overal driving

I drive mostly street and some offroad during summer months on camping trips, I tow and haul things. I have a 3" lift, 265/70/16 on now.

i have 285-75-17 duratracs dont hear any road noise and they work awesome in mud and snow i love my duratracs but i've never used the revo 2

 

i just got revo 2s a month ago, they are great on the street, in rain, sleet and snow. gas mileage seems fine, road noise is not noticable over the stock dueler ht's

 

Had my Duratracs for about 2000 miles now. I love em so far. Can't say anything about tread life. I do hear a little more road noise than I had with my Kumhos, but that's to be expected. Great in mud so far, and tried em out in the snow today and was pretty impressed.

those are 2 pretty different tires. revos are a less agressive a/t, and the duratracs are the most aggressive a/ts you can buy. depends on your needs

 

Yessir, best place to be in GA. I go to Hiawassee for the fair and go a lot to the movies up there.

 

I have 265/75/16s duratracs. They look awesome and dont really hear any road noise. Im guessing they are hard to balance because I did have vibes at 35-40mph then I took it back and had them rebalanced. Now the vibe starts at 30-35 but its not as bad as before. Oh well.

 

yeah i miss goin up there and campin cant wait to get back to the great south east

 

if you do mostly on road driving i would go with revos

 

Great feedback thanks everyone! I suspect I will go with the Revo's although the DuraTracs look better I just can't seem to justify the added expense and the warranty of the Revo's tread is too good to pass up.
