    Thats how I feel. All I know is mine seems to drive fine but I’ll (hopefully) be ordering SPC uppers soon.

    I'm on the Cooper AT3 4's now and love them. I just got my lift on and the 2657516 are just fine but I am considering 255/85/16. What made you choose the ST MAXX and that tire size?? Thanks!

    Where did you get the alignment taken care of? I haven't seen that spec printout format.

    Also curious about why you installed the UCA's? Are you planning to go bigger?

    I've been debating whether or not to install the UCA's in my kit when I finally get around to it. I'm planning on lowering the coil seats a bit before I do.

    I’ve heard and read great things about these tires. For the size, I wanted 285/75/16s but didn’t want to take the chance right now that I would need to do the cmc. You probably know if your looking at them, the 255s are still a 33” tire and even a bit lighter.
    Not many choices in the 255/85/16 range either. It was between these and the Mastercraft but have not seen enough reviews. I’ll let you know what I think about them.

    I wish 265/85/16 was a thing. Ha. I'm just not sure about going skinnier. I daily my truck and down here in Coastal Georgia it might not be the best match to roll 255, I would be concerned about cornering.

    If your lowering it more you may not have much reason. I had read that aftermarket UCAs can also help ride quality. One of the reasons I’m going with SPC. Well that and it would be a hassle to paint the JBA ones.

    I have the 255/85R16 Mastercraft Courser CXT on my truck. They are getting ready to come off. I have about 58K on them with 4/16's left on tread. I am replacing with 255/85R16 Falken MT. I drive my truck daily. 3 of those days my commute is 90 miles. I live in the CO mtns and spend a lot of time on hwy, forest roads and no roads. I have no complaints in handling with this size at all. I also just ordered my Ironman kit and it should be shipping out today!

    I got the Falken MT's on a really good deal. You already mentioned it, but the selection in this size is really limited. I really like the Mastercrafts, but they were $220 more for 4. The ST Maxx were over $300 more for 4.

    I would be interested in the cost of a set of UCA's. I tried to buy the Stage 2 kit earlier this week and the UCA's sold out while I was online with customer support!!!!! I had to settle and get stage 1. You can PM me.

    Quite a few things at this point..
    I got my alignment done at Automotive Outfitters in Portland. They're pretty good, they also installed the suspension.

    I got the UCAs for a couple reasons. First is that I'll eventually be going to 33s. And I was noticing my truck would get a little squirrelly at higher speeds, that's completely gone now :D

    If there's one thing I've learned, it's that I'm taking my truck to Automotive Outfitters next time it needs an alignment. Very good results coming out of that shop (assuming you have the right parts installed like aftermarket UCA).

    I honestly wasn't expecting such a huge and positive change to the drive of the truck with the new UCAs. As I said before, I thought it felt fine before installing them minus the slight squirrellyness I'd get. I actually just didn't know any better haha, apparently my drive was "worse" than I thought. If I knew before hand that this is what I was getting from the new UCAs, I would have got stage 2 and saved money. Ooooh well though, I'm here now and I love it!

    Pretty interesting and good to hear. I’ll be ordering SPCs here soon. Hopefully sooner than later.
    No reason I didn’t go with the IM set, I had just wanted SPC or JBA. After decided I don’t want to mess with painting the UCAs, I’ve settled on SPC.
