I don't think are any provisions for a direct fit. Probably fabricate brackets with hardware to fit.

I think people have had better ways to do this with aftermarket roof racks versus the OEM bars. The after market ones are more capable of mounting due to the cross extrusion bars.

Thanks. Was my thoughts as well, a little modification to the rear of the basket to make it work.

Looking at the basket in the link you provided, it should mount on the factory rack just fine. The cross member rails on the factory "retract" into the side rails. I will warn you though, when the cross bars are "extended" side to side, they cannot hold much weight. They flex pretty easy. I think the factory rack is only rated at 75-100lbs.

This is correct, you should have the right mounts already.

As for the rack not holding a ton, its true it does flex a good amount. But using the basket should split the weight better and prevent pressure points near the center of the rack where it flexes the most.

Thanks all. Not planning on much weight in basket. Basket weight is 35 lbs, so can only put about 65 pounds in it anyway. I will post an update when I get both installed.

I don’t recall the specifics but the factory roof rack won’t work on certain 2020’s And mine is one of them because they moved the shark fin forward when they first came out then moved it back. There’s a thread on this site somewhere about it I just wanted to give you a heads up before the install.

This is also true, I think it was early model 2020s that had the issue.

Excellent! You opened up the crossbars and they don't hit? Can you supply a picture and maybe measure how far the shark fin is from the back of the cab?

There is also a guy on here that makes low profile shark fin replacements to help with fitment issues like this
